It’s been probably ten years since I’ve been here, but I just had a vivid flashback of the delicious quiche with all the fruit on the side. Their lattes were no slouch either! If I can ever find my way back to Sparta this will be my very first stop.
The workers were extremely accommodating although we rode our bikes in right after the kitchen was closed. The ambience was old school and fantastic, the reuben was fantastic, and the homemade phosphate sodas were unique and delicious. We rode into Sparta, later than expected, without lunch plans and this place exceeded all expectations. Even though I live hours away, I will make it a point to return!
Almost used the window addition outside, the weather was calling for it. We came in about five min to close, so that's not great of us. Was interested in the espresso that's mentioned on the billboard in Fort. Didn't end up trying it but did have a cold brew that I did not find to be particularly good. Interested to try that bag of WI bike-themed coffee though some time - is that served in house? Will be back to try espresso and hot brewed coffee, I'm sure...
