Stopped for lunch today. I was so happy to see how clean this place is and nicely decorated...not over the top. Servers in white shirts and black pants. A very nice bar is also inside. They even have a breakfast menu. The food is excellent. Will definitely go back. Easy on easy off the interstate. The shredded beef chimichunga was outstanding.
Great place! 😋 I ordered a dish with fish, vegetables, and mashed potatoes — I don’t remember the exact name, but everything was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked — juicy with a nice sear. The veggies were fresh and tasty, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful. 🐟🥦🥔 Big and satisfying portion. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend! 👍😊
It’s far better Mexican food than one can expect at a rural truck stop. I’ve been here twice, had chorizo and eggs with a bit of jalapeños and some carne asada for dinner, also tried a beef enchilada. Everything besides the enchilada was delicious and plenty “authentic.” I suspect not everything on the menu is great, you won’t go wrong with the chorizo and eggs or carne asada dinner. So I suppose to the naysayers, I say keep it simple, this place is a gem to truck drivers...
