When you walk in you can see a sign saying that everything is made to order and may take longer since it's made from scratch. We knew it would be a wait and didn't mind as we are patient. Given the hostess and waitress were the only two we saw we knew they were short staffed and over worked.Knowing all this, we had such a good time. This was our second time at the Villa. We were placed in a corner for two. Candle light, ivy, music it was all good. We ordered the Bruschetta, a 12" pizza Alfredo with chicken. The bruschetta was flavorful topped with tomatoes seasoned just right. The pizza was a thick crust and crunchy and the sauce was delicious. We also had dessert the tiramisu and cheese cake which was flavorful and definitely a must have, if you have room ?.Honestly, our waitress was great and as attentive as she could be, being the only one, other than the hostess, out front. The staff was very accommodating given being short staffed. It's worth the wait if you're patient and enjoying the atmosphere. ❤️*Our time there probably would have been better had it not been for the rude guests in the larger room who were clearly over the limit on their consumption of alcohol and belligerent. If you want fast food when you're drinking go to McDonalds and let the rest of us enjoy our meals. You were rude to the staff, rude to the other guests and I was embarrassed for you all, the way you were acting.

Don't go if in a rush but you can tell it's made fresh when you order. Good pizza and appetizers. Will be trying other items next time I go.

Maybe I caught this place on an off night..... I'm not sure. The wait staff was lacking. The lasagna was decent and garlic bread was awesome. Chicken primavera was great too.The pizza we had was lacking.... Not much in the way of flavor and toppings were very minimal.I'd definitely give it another try but not rushing to get back here.

Service was good, but order took forever and there were only 3 tables seated. Ordered a large thin crust and it wasn't worth the price. My daughter asked me where the extra cheese was. There was plenty of black olives, but pepperoni was hard to find. Sauce was acidic. I was in there this summer and pizza was better and they actually had a crowd that night. I can't imagine it being around much longer. Then again expectations are extremely low in this area with the restaurant choices. It's almost impossible to screw up thin crust pizza, yet...

The bruschetta was very flavorful. However, we waited an hour and 45 min for our deep dish pizza. All the other tables were being served almost 15 min of getting seated. When we asked the staff where our food was, we were told that they were short staffed. The manager came out shortly after and said they were short staffed and they must have burnt our pizza. The pizza arrived to us about 15 min after. Pizza was bland and didn't taste like a traditional deep dish pizza. Very disappointed! Do not recommend unless you want to be waiting almost 2 hours for bland pizza.

Food is delicious - tonite we had the lasagna and ravioli. Service was excellent! On previous visits we have also had thin crust pizza that was great (very thin, crispy crust!).So glad that they now have music playing in the restaurant - really enhances the mood!So glad you are here in Sparta!

Delivery took 1 hour 30 minutes. Pizza was cold. Charged for hand tossed, even though thin crust pizza. Very disappointing $45 later.

Went on a Friday night and was able to get a table. A bit busy in the dining room with only one server, but she managed the room like a pro. We had calamari (excellent) and Garlic bread as an appetizer. For dinner I had chicken primavera special (excellent) and also ordered the Villa primavera for my pasta (disappointment with this dish, not worth the price). My husband ordered Veal parmigiana (excellent). I almost gave this restaurant a 4 star because of the one dish, but that one dish should not define the rest of our dinning experience. Lynne our server was amazing. We will be back to try their pizza.

The sauce on entrees was very good, clearly well prepared. Bruschetta was fresh, perfect balance of onion and garlic, toast was crispy. Meat manicotti was a highlight, husband said he'd definitely order that again. Chicken Parmesan was well cooked, accompanying mostaccoli perfectly prepared. Bread sticks light and airy served with marinara sauce. Substantial wine list.

So, I know the owner and am giving a better rating than I honestly would for another restaurant. Our experience was not great. The server was friendly and prompt. However, the food came out barely warm, noodles undercooked, and the taste just wasn't right. There was a "garnish" added to the dish that looked like something pulled from a garden that isn't meant to be there. We spent 45 dollars on 2 meals and were not impressed. I'd like to say that we will go back to support a small local business.. however, im not sure as the cost was a lot for food we did not like. I was a bit disappointed that nothing had been changed in the restaurant but glad we were able to sneak into the back corner booth for some privacy with our little one.

Worst pizza that we have ever had. It bordered on horrible. We ordered two pizzas and both went into the garbage. Absolutely no taste and very little toppings. $50 out the window. We'll never go back.

So very disappointing. $20 for a "ultimate chicken Parmigiano" that was easily comparable to Fazoli's. Only fazoli's breadsticks are served warm, fresh, and soft. $50 for two meals that tasted microwaved and an old canoli. The server was incredibly kind, though and they have good crunching ice. Would like to try the pizza in the future, since that is what everyone seems to like. As of right now we weren't very impressed. Also, price on receipt/ticket did not match what was on menu.
