I didn't like the chimichanga. It was a large amount of rice and very little shredded beef. Most chimi's have refried beans and maybe some veggies. Maybe they should offer an option.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! From the Queso, Salsa and chips to the absolute best and freshest guacamole iv’e ever had. I had the Blanco grilled chicken burrito it was amazing the chicken was tasty and tender, my hubby had the tacos Americana and loved everything about them, staff is wonderful, friendly and superb service! The atmosphere is warm and fun- I highly recommend this place!

Food was good. Waitstaff not so much. I asked if the quesadilla came with rice and beans was told yes. Nope. Apparently not. We got there at 7:30 maybe that was the issue it was more a Chinese fire drill than a dining experience. She took my margarita away before I was done. And while signing my receipt stuck her fingers in my water glass so that was obviously finished as well. Commented I actually again wasn’t done and I guess the people were waiting on our glasses. Bummer. Could be an off night or new staff so will give it a whirl but much earlier.

What a hidden gem in Spooner WI. Great family owned business. They moved up from Chicago and brought the flavor of Mexico and Chicago Italian with them. Huge menu. Huge portions. Was an absolute delight. Will be back again and again! Adrian our server who may be the owner makes one of the best margaritas I have ever had!! Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: They are absolutely wonderful with kids. My 2 daughters were able to go and pick out their own Mexican juices from the cooler. And got stamps on their hands for being such good eaters!! They are amazing!

Went for lunch and was greeted by extremely friendly people. I ordered the barbacoa mac and cheese skillet and it is by far the best mac and cheese I've had in a very long time! Price was very reasonable as well. I will be back!!

This was my first experience with La Cabana. We ordered takeout on Sunday Eve. Initially, we were looking for delivery, but we were concerned it would take a substantial amount of time for the food to be delivered. When my friend called to put in the order, the person who answered was in a neighboring town (possibly on a delivery). The worker seemed flustered and very busy, mentioning that if we had a large order or weren't sure what we wanted, we would possibly need a call back. I fully understand this and sympathize. However, as a first-time orderer, we had an extremely difficult time finding a menu online to even order from. Because of this, it took us several minutes to place an order for 6 people (5 meals/ OR appetizers). There were some specials listed on a Facebook web page, but not a full menu. We requested some things that had shown up online that may have been discontinued or out of season. I thought I ordered 2 orders of churros, but we later discovered they weren't added to the bill. My friend was also missing some sauces that she had requested.Though it was confusing and a bit flustering in the ordering experience, we picked up our meal in a half hour packaged neatly waiting for us at a counter. It was about $60 for the five meals that were all proportioned well.Everyone liked the taste of their food, a mix of Mexican-American dishes, and Italian American food. The young children enjoyed the Burbon Boneless wings appetizer, comparing it to General Tso's- in terms of texture, heat, and flavor. My chimichanga tasted great, but was stuck to the styrofoam box. Maybe poke holes in the box for steam?I'd recommend dining in if possible, or ordering when less busy. Overall, though, we still had a good experience! I'd recommend the chicken Alfredo or a calzone.

Wonderful experience! The people were great, the atmosphere was as well. Food was good as well. My only complaint was the rice was not the classic Mexican rice but the beans were homemade.

Nice small, quiet place to find some of the BEST Mexican food in a very long time. Food was amazing, service was great, and the people were friendly. This is definitely a place we'll be coming back to. Large portions at great prices make it even better.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the side to the front door
