“Stopped in at the Wobblin Duck Saloon this past week. Hadn't stopped there in several years. Terri the daytime bartender turned out to be an old friend. Bar is definitely a throwback to the past Great place, worth stopping in.”

“We were so happy to have discovered this gem near Spooner, WI! We tried the Still burger, tots with seasoned sour cream and cheese curds and I can't recommend them enough! The burger was truly one of the best I've ever had and we come from MPLS where we have so many burger options! The service was friendly and fast and it's just a charming little spot with both indoor and outdoor seating! We will absolutely be back soon and will be bringing our family and friends!”

“We were at the cabin up here and decided to the Tonys Riverside. Tony’s has the best food! The kids love it and so do we. Highly recommend. I had the Cesar wrap and curly fries and my other half had the chicken melt. VERY GOOD! Not to mention the kids stayed busy on the claw machine!”

“We just discovered this bar this year. It is clean, nicely set up and full of fun games. They allowed us to order food from the Shop across the street and eat in here. They were so nice about it we came back a week later with a group of 11 and all ate Shop food and played games and drank here. They do have pizza n snacks on site. Someone won over $400 on slot machine while we were there. It was a fun bar.”

While a lot of the negative comments below seem to relate to the aesthetics of the building, let the haters hate while the rest of us living in reality will continue to enjoy the food. This is local food in a small town. This isn’t a food venue infused with a massive budget for capital improvements. If you expect Edina Southdale, please go there instead. I love this place and continue to find it convenient to stop in and enjoy local food. Turkey burrito is highly recommended.”

“Was a fun place to stop and get out of the rain, service was great, the place is packed with antiques and all sorts of memorabilia, it seemed like everywhere you looked, there was a new item you hadn't seen before.It was fairly priced and would definitely go again.”

“First time in. Went for the fish fry. Very friendly folks, go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. Food was excellent, I had baked, husband had fried fish. Baked potato was perfect, fries, obviously hand cut. Complimentary adult pudding shots with the fish fry, nice touch. Been seasonal up here 40 years. Wish we tried them sooner.”

“I heard about Laura's Bake Shop & Cafe, through a friend. I needed 5 dozen dinner rolls & ordered them through Laura. They were wonderful! Cozy little place to eat or have coffee.☕ Laura is such a lovely person. I will be back, for sure.?Dietary restrictions: Laura can bake gluten-free & sugar freeitems, also.”

“Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! From the Queso, Salsa and chips to the absolute best and freshest guacamole iv’e ever had. I had the Blanco grilled chicken burrito it was amazing the chicken was tasty and tender, my hubby had the tacos Americana and loved everything about them, staff is wonderful, friendly and superb service! The atmosphere is warm and fun- I highly recommend this place!”

“Tried the China House for a take out dinner last Saturday night. The food was excellent. I have had many egg rolls over the years but these were moist and very flavorful. And the Beef with Snow Peas entree was excellent too. I will definitely go back to the China House!”

“Beautiful dining room with quality food! We had the salad bar, shrimp, and au gratins. The shrimp was probably the biggest I've ever eaten. The bar area is a nice space with pull tabs, pool, and slots. The owner made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back!!”
