I heard about Laura's Bake Shop & Cafe, through a friend. I needed 5 dozen dinner rolls & ordered them through Laura. They were wonderful! Cozy little place to eat or have coffee.☕ Laura is such a lovely person. I will be back, for sure.?Dietary restrictions: Laura can bake gluten-free & sugar freeitems, also.

Need a spot to dine when you're up at the cabin or somewhere quaint and local? Look no further then Laura's Bake Shop. Located on the main drag of Spooner, WI, you will travel inside a small strip mall with just a few other shops. Laura's is located at the very end of the hall with excellent signage. Upon arrival, you will more then likely be greeted by Laura! It's her shop and she wears multiple hats. From baking local goods, taking speciality orders, cashiering, hostessing and cooking - she does it all! A very small interior but everything is made from the heart. Stay for just a moment and you will be provided with a friendly conversation or a hot cup of coffee. My family went for breakfast and got seated extremely quick. The omelettes are excellent and the baked goods are top notch! Outside the shop Laura has a small boutique of little trinkets you can buy as well such as coffee cups, wall art, drink glasses, cookie jars, etc. Come give it a whirl!

This is a new gem in downtown Spooner! I grew up in this town and my family personally knows the owner of this place, Laura. Laura is so sweet and that is the same with her baked goods! I went this past weekend and had her lunch special of baked pasta hotdish (or casserole for those who aren't from the Midwest), which came with cornbread or biscuit and choice of pie, all for 10.99! Oh and also choice of drink! I tried her blueberry cheesecake pie, so delicious and simple, reminds me of mom or grandma cooking, take your pick, but it was so delicious! She also has cupcakes, cornbread, banana bread, strawberry cheesecake pie, coconut cream pie, that's what I can remember from memory! Her little shop is in the back of the building, shared with a clothing an yoga studio. It is simple but delicious! Laura will go out of your way to wait on you in the sweetest way so stop by this new owner's place and support local; you won't regret supporting local! And the street this business is on is still open during road construction. Isn't the pic of this pie so delicious? You know you want some, stop by when you are up north to grab some homemade goodies! Oh and current hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, Mon-Sat, but check back after Memorial Day as most business up north expand their hours for summer!

We went in for an afternoon snack and the kids got grilled ham and cheese, chips and a peanut butter cookie. Laura is very welcoming, grilled cheese cooked to perfection. We also bought some cinnamon rolls to go for the next morning. Definitely recommend stopping by, checking out the daily special or taking some treats to go.

We were passing through town and found this gem on Main Street of Spooner across from the movie theater. It's a cute cafe in the back of the building. There are loads of fresh baked pastries and pies. The owner Laura is a wonderful cook and we enjoyed the food. The prices are reasonable and the serving sizes are more then generous.
