Yet another hopping place in the small town of Spring Green, WI. We were fortunate to get the last available table upon our arrival for breakfast. It seems to stay very busy, and for good reason. Everything is done with quality and pride. The building itself is old and unique, with a very cool gift shop attached. This is one of those eateries where you order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table. There were plenty of options, even for my gluten-free wife, and the food came out pretty quickly. The meals were delicious and obviously made with pride. The ingredients all seemed fresh, and were very flavorful. The staff was very warm and friendly. The Spring Green General Store is a perfect reflection of Spring Green itself... warm, welcoming, unique. We recommend Spring Green General Store very highly! -The PowerTrippers

A lovely quaint restaurant where I've always had great food, and in addition, a fun gift store to shop. Option of gluten-free bread for sandwiches! And, these staff really know how to make great coffee.

There website said they closed at 3:00 we got there at 2:10 and already the kitchen was closed. It was a beautiful sunny day, you would think they would stay open with all the people driving around at least till their posted closing time. The lady behind the register told us to go across the street to eat, like we were bothering her when we question why it was closed. They just lost some customers. To bad. Word to wise better call to see if open because they don't go by there posted time. Very disappointed.

The corn chowder was fabulous as was the chicken salad sandwich. After lunch, we shopped - such fun stuff! Well selected and good quality women's vacation or everyday clothing too. Was there with a granddaughter, but this is a super lunch spot for couples or a group of friends

Hub of delicious food, beautiful things to buy, and community in spring green. Their Wrainbow Wrap continues to inspire my own sandwich making— though they never live up to the inspiration. On the Sunday morning I was there local musicians gathered for jam session on the back porch. The bulletin board is full of possibilities. I was so inspired by the merchandise I did some early Christmas shopping! Definitely a must visit if you are in spring green.

This is a hidden gem. The food was amazing. I had an amazing meatless frito pie. The items in the store are unique and fun. If you are in Spring Green, this is a must stop for lunch and/or shopping.

I’ve always loved this general store — it’s such a local gem with a unique selection and a charming atmosphere. I was really excited about what I picked out on my last visit, but the lady at checkout was honestly awful. Her attitude made me not even want to buy the things I had in my hands. It’s so disappointing because I hate writing a bad review about a place I like, but this experience has stuck with me for days. Really hope it was just a one-time thing because I want to keep loving this store.
