HotR during the Christmas season is one of my family’s favorite excursions during the winter time and quickly becoming a yearly tradition.

As we walked into the whale room and prepared to ascend the ramp, an employee literally screamed in my face “THE RAMP IS CLOSING AT 2PM!” It was barely 1:50pm, my family and myself are able bodied and were able to be out of the whale room by 1:58pm...

Not toddler friendly, some of the staff are rude, especially the young gentlemen who followed me as I went backwards in the house, excuse me but I just paid 80.00 dollars, I'll walk all the way back to the beginning if I need to, don't follow me around go get a life or find a new job. The entrance price is plenty steep, take some of the money and fix up the house. The token machines are cool. There's lots to read and look at. If you were to look at every single...

Our family had an amazing time at The House on the Rock! I was especially happy to see how much fun my two special needs kids (9 and 21) had—there was so much to see, and they were completely engaged the whole time. The accessibility was also a big plus. My daughter has difficulty with stairs, so I really appreciated that there were ramps available to make things easier for her.
