Amber Grill is one of our favorite local restaurants to dine in for special occasions. We are always treated with the utmost kindness. Their food is always fire no matter what we order, but my favorite appetizer is the spinach artichoke dip with pita bread. Always get the pita bread!

I sat at the bar having drinks. The bartenders were amazing. I ordered my food to go and when I asked for extra sauce after the food came out they brought it with no issues. The sauce and the noodles were absolutely amazing. I ordered the chicken bacon alfredo to go. I do know that if I let it sit there too long that's it does not heat up the same all the time. However I did not microwave it when I got to my room at the adjoining hotel. The chicken was way overcooked. So that would be the only reason that you did not get a 5 star. It was very dry. Other than that I had an amazing time and may stop back again when I am home n town.

We arrived and were told there was a 35 min wait so we went into the less busy bar and ordered a few drinks and placed our dinner order. Then we were seated in the dining room. Our waitress repeatedly told us that we had to go sit back in the bar and eat. We didn't want too as it was quieter in the dining room and we wanted a relaxing Friday evening talking. Apparently, the waitress refused to transfer our tab to her and decided not to serve us further (even though we asked to order more food). She also refused to bring us dinner (someone else brought us our meal), ask how it was (it was terribly bland and made us both sick when we got back to our hotel) and take our order for additional drinks and desserts and after dinner coffee. The meal was very expensive for the quantity and quality of their food and the waitresses attitude was horrendous. Don't go here.

My wife and I both got the fish fry. I got the pan fried and she got the deep fried. It was good but it wasn't great. In my opinion, they needed to add some spices or seasonings to the batter and to the pan fried fish. It was kind of

Food is exceptional, traditional Wisconsin offerings from chili and soups to flavorful steaks. Service is attentive and timely. Ambiance is great with the fireplace.

Saturday night for supper, service was good , Wife enjoyed her chicken Alfredo. Now when I pay $35 for a slice of prime rib. I want it to be tender and taste good. Sadly it was neither. Ordered medium and it was pink all the way through so that was not the problem. It had no flavor and was tough as leather. Even the au jus was flavorless. I let the waitress know, She said she would let the kitchen know. Good thing the meal was more about the company than the meal. Sure hope breakfast goes better.

We came here on a Saturday at 9pm with a very large group. The host was helpful and polite. The two bartenders were excellent and worked hard. Fast and super cool.We ordered a lot of apps. The cheese curds and the sausage mushroom flat bread were the stand outs.Thank you again Amber Grill staff for letting us keep our party rolling on your patio. You helped make some great memories.

What about an entree name "Airline Chicken" should have been a dead giveaway? The chicken was dry and tough. The broccolini was so woody as to be completely inedible. Perhaps a garden shears would have worked, even a knife had a hard time cutting it. If I didn't know better I'd swear the meal was pre prepared then held for serving for a good long time. Had a previous poor experience but a social commitment brought us back. We love our friends and conversation but elsewhere next time.

Meals were just average, shrimp scampi over powered with lemon, no side salad or veg, just a piece of Italian bread, most likely out of a bag frozen.
