We had a wonderful stay here. Rooms very clean, beds very comfy and I love the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser in the showers. You can actually get clean compared to those bitty bottles most places provided. The breakfast was very good too. We got down to late but was a tray out with left overs bet it's better fresh but still so very good for what was left. Staff very smiley, friendly and very welcoming. It's in a great location too. You have food options, gas station and shopping literally walking distance.

During a difficult time for our family, we needed to book a block of rooms to stay close to each other. I didn't have much information on the exact number of people, arrival times, or other details. Tara Fuchs at the Fairfield by Marriott in Stevens Point, WI, made the entire experience incredibly easy with her empathy and understanding of our situation.

Tara not only helped us secure the block of rooms, but she also checked in on us during our stay and double-checked our reservations along the way to ensure everything was correct. Her exceptional care and attention to detail made a challenging time a little easier for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn in Steven's Point, WI. The service over the phone and in-persin was fantastic, kind, and easy to do business with (Maria). The inside of the hotel has recently gone through a remodel, thpugh the exterior doesnt show as well as the inside. The lobby and breakfast area are updated and clean and check-in was quick. Our room was updated, clean, quiet, and nicely decorated. There was a bit of an off smell, can't quite place what it was. The pool area is well maintained and clean as well. The continental breakfast was more than just grab and go food, it included hot oatmeal with toppings, various beverages, sausage, eggs, waffels, toast/bagels, muffins, and coffee. Stayed here last weekend. Some of the staff were nice and then there was one that seemed she hated her life. Her name is Lisa Harvey. We checked in and was not greeted at the door with a smile. Not a friendly person to be working front desk to greet customers. She also yelled at my daughter for using her body spray, saying she can smell it in her office and the scent was too heavy, not once but twice. What kind of sane person will yell at a kid and not address it to the parent? She saw me sitting at the lobby. She was also rude to other guests that checked in and on the phone from what I saw and heard. Everytime we asked to speak to her manager, she made up some excuse saying he's busy and can't reach him. The only time the hotel was pleasant was when her shift was over and we could relax and not feel like walking on egg shells at the hotel. The pool was very small. The mini fridge in our room didn't work. There were no trash can liners. Free breakfast was ok. Rooms were clean but small. Other than that, the stay was ok to say the least. If you have a big gathering, do not stay at this hotel. They can not accommodate.

Terrible experience. Staff yelled at us for talking in the lobby around 6pm. We had a hockey team booked at the hotel. 16 rooms. We were told we could gather in the lobby. Our conversations were too loud for the staff because she could hear us in her office. Extremely rude! Will not ever return.

Poor service. The hotel was aware a large group was booking and requested accommodations for team dinners and gatherings. They do not have a conference room and said the lobby could accommodate the gathering. While gathering in the lobby our group was yelled at for talking too loud. The front desk attendee said she couldn't work, folding laundry because the level of noise at 6:00pm.

Horrible staff here. Our hockey team stayed here and we were yelled at by the staff forTalking in the lobby at dinner time. No one raised their voices or yelled but the staff yelled at our kids for being too loud when they were conversing and laughing. It was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. It was bad enough that our team left the hotel to go to another location. Lisa Harvey was the desk person at the time and was extremely rude to all of our families. We also overheard her on the phone with other guests and she was extremely rude to inquiries on the phone as well.Noteworthy details: Horrible customer service. Do NOT stay at this hotel if you plan to have any gathering or fun. Pool is also extremely small
