Guu's on Main is exactly what you want in a local spot! The vibe is incredibly fun (you can't beat the classic tavern decor and the giant bison head on the wall), and the service was absolutely amazing from start to finish. If you're in Stevens Point, starting with the fried cheese curds is an absolute must. We followed it up with a great cheeseburger and crispy waffle fries, and everything hit the spot. Highly recommend!

Hadn't been here like for 5 years use to be our favorite place. Friday night fish fry was not very good fish was all over fried and tough and barely any fries and a ketchup sized cup of coleslaw. I don't know what was up with the waitress she didn't seem to want our money waited 10 minutest to check out she walked by again and again finally just left it on the table. Atmosphere is nice but unfortunately not going back

I was shocked how fast they prepared and served our orders and was skeptical of the quality because of the very fast service. The food was EXCELLENT and everything about my experience there, puts GUU'S On Main as my new favorite bar in Steven's Point to eat at!

A longtime gem of the downtown area. Fantastic beer and whiskey selection, along with specialty cocktails and other drinks. We love their Friday night fish fry, but note that it can get a bit busy (which is always a good sign on a Wisconsin Friday night.) My personal favorites are the truffle parmesan cheese curds and the wings with sriracha lime peanut sauce!
