Disappointed when I call in an order for pick-up. Ask for pancakes, I get potato pancakes. Order an omelet with bacon and I get Canadian bacon. Orders clearly need to be read back or have someone younger that is answering the phone. Second time my order has been wrong when calling in.

Recommended by a UWSP faculty member. Had an omelette with hash browns and raisin toast. I believe the owner stopped at our table and offered us to try the homemade salsa; red and green. The salsa was delicious as was our breakfast. The restaurant was busy but the staff was attentive to each table and guest. Super clean! Will be back when we visit our child at UWSP. (They offer a $2 discount for college kids w their ID’s.)

Diner experience to a tee! From the menu to the decor this place is a whimsical restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly. The music was fitting and the booth seats are upholstered with metallic flake vinyl. Food came out fast and hit the spot for us! Omelette was delicious and the sandwiches aimed to please. If you’re looking for an inviting diner atmosphere look no further.

The breakfast here is amazing. Their pancakes are nice and fluffy and do not sit in your stomach like a rock. I definitely recommend getting the skillet. The Jimmy Skillet. Perfectly seasoned well cooked with scrambled eggs.

We almost went to Perkin’s because it was right next to our hotel. Thank goodness we didn’t! The food was delicious, prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was cozy, and the wait staff (especially our waitress Amy) was wonderful. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!
