I was finally able to get to the Rock and Roll Cafe in Stevens Point and it was everything a rock and roll diner should be. Classic rock music playing with a counter and tables with vinyl backs and seats. Even though I walked in the back door, the staff met me and offered a choice of seats. The menu had a wide variety of breakfast options and a page of lunch options. The breakfast options looked amazing. However, since it was already early afternoon, I opted for chicken parmesan sandwich. It was delicious, but I wasn't expecting it to be served on a hamburger bun. While we were eating, the staff brought out fresh baked scones. Looked so good, I ordered one to go. Good food, nice atmosphere, great staff.

I ordered the corned beef and cabbage skillet. Got just corned beef and cabbage. (I'm sometimes too soft spoken). It was a generous serving and very good. The staff were super friendly!

Was our favorite place for years for breakfast until they tried to charge us 16.00 for a grilled cheese sandwich. We questioned it and was charged 13.00. Way over charged and despite being regular customers, may never go back.

Three friends and I spent the night in Stevens Point. When I Googled "breakfast", this was one of the places that came up. After looking at their website, I decided we had to go here. The interior is decorated like a 1950's diner. It is incredible! Kind of like stepping back thru a time portal. While busy, we were greeted and seated promptly. Coffee and menus followed. Two of us had the Eggs Benedict while the other had the omelet special of the day. While waiting, staff came around with a coffee pot and topped off the cups. The Eggs Benedict were done to perfection. Poached eggs with runny yolks with Canadian bacon on an English muffin drenched in great tasting benedict sauce. You can have a choice of fresh fruit or hash browns. I had the fruit which was fresh and sweet. The omelet had corned beef in it for St. Pat's day. The person who had it never said a word while cleaning his plate. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Your coffee cup will never go below half full. This was one of the nicest places I've ever had breakfast. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend if you're in Stevens Point, stop here for breakfast. Their hours are 7-3 every day of the week.Parking: Plenty of parking in the front, back, and alongside the cafe.Kid-friendliness: Several tables had kids. I'm assuming they have kid friendly menu choices available.

The exterior of the diner may look like an auto body shop, but don't judge a book by its cover.When you go inside, it will feel like you got transported back to the 1950s with the red barstools and the many decors of 50s celebs all over the walls.Great place for groups or just dining solo for some good ol' American classics!

Great food, a lot of food and exceptional service. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and tentative. Will definitely go back and plan to take my young nieces as they would enjoy the environment. :)
