It’s not bad. Served its purpose for a quick lunch that isn’t deep fried. The taco salad with beef and another with chicken were both fine, if not a bit light on protein. It’s cheap and cheerful and as healthy as fast food can be. The potato ole was delish - little fried hash browns.

Service very slow, but they were short handed and fairly busy.

Bathrooms were incredibly clean, and restaurant was well kept. We ordered online and food was ready within a couple of minutes and was hot and ready. I would recommend the $7 meal deal because it comes with a great amount of food!

I was so excited to visit a Taco John's since I hadn't been to one in probably 20 years! We pulled up to the restaurant with no customers there prior to 11am and we ended up waiting 40 mins for luke warm food. There were only 2 people working there (which I understand probably wasn't their fault and I'm not mad about that), and the manager said that they had to service drive thru customers first because it's timed. She honestly thought she wasn't doing anything wrong, never apologized, and said we could only get a refund if we didn't take the food. After waiting 40 mins with 3 young kids, we would've eaten most anything at that point! Many people walked out after realizing how long it would take. My family even warned several people just to let them know how long it might take them. The manager still tried to explain it was bc of the drive-thru...to these new customers. Someone please re-train her. I hope you can get some more reliable staff also.

They just can’t get an order right to save their lives and when you bring it to their attention they just don’t care. Time for the next thing to occupy the space. Other than 1 fake 5 star review (probably the owner’s wife trying to boost their rating) you see nothing but the same complaint over and over again. Ownership doesn’t care. Management doesn’t care. Employees definitely don’t care. Don’t give this sinking ship any of your money just for them to miss 25% of your order and then cop an attitude when you dare to ask for the rest of your order.

Have had my order messed up multiple times at this location in Stevens Point. Ordered in the drive through that has 2 screens to speed up lengthy waiting lines. There were 2 cars in the left lane, so thinking it would save me time and get me out of the pouring rain faster, I went to the open right lane. 15 min goes by, and the 2 cars ahead of me in the left lane had ordered and now a third car pulled up and started ordering before me. I then had to change back into the left lane.
Finally, get my order in. I get home and realize there is no cheese sauce, potato ole with my combo, no dressing for my gf taco salad, and there were toppings on the tacos I requested to have left off. This not being the first nor second time this location has messed my order up, I decide to drive back to have this mistake corrected. I go inside to ask for a refund AND to have my meal remade as this is about 40 min later and the food is ice cold. They give me an ultimatum of either a refund or fresh food, and as it was getting late I took the fresh food. I wait another 20 min inside, as they prioritize the drive thru and new customers before me, wasting even more of my evening. I hear as the staff barks about people coming back through the drive through with incorrectly made orders. I watch the lead start to make my new meal, I watch as she incorrectly DUPLICATES the first order. Same mistakes, no ole, no salad dressing, LETTUCE ON THE TACOS AGAIN despite the receipt listing everything I ordered correctly. At this point I am beside myself, I say give me my refund and I dart up the street to Culver’s, where the employees actually give the slightest amount of care to their job.
Management, hire some workers that actually care about their job. Will not be visiting again and I hope everyone that reads this decides to avoid as well.

Taco John's has and will always be a favorite; from their famous ole's w/dipping sauces to their slightly different tacos and burritos from other places. The service is fresh, fast, and pleasantly friendly. This store has a huge inside and outside dining area w/ tvs for groups.

When I stopped in at Taco John's today the 28th I had to wait 35 minutes for two tacos when I was the only person in line. The person who was helping me had half of their rear end hanging out and kept adjusting and pulling on their pants with their gloved hand the same hand that touched my cup and my food bag and presumably my food. Absolutely disgusting and terrible service.

I'm writing this as I sit in the parking lot after getting my food today May 24th 2024. Went through the drive-thru and got cold chewy potato oles and when I asked for some fresh oled a woman in the back got really snarky and told me several times she refused to make anymore. I quote "well those are the only potato oles your going to get I'm not making anymore".
I parked in the drive-thru and call to try and speak to the store manager and she wouldn't give me any information and kept demanding I give her my name. I recognize the voice as a woman who came up to the drive-thru and demanded I leave because she wasn't giving me any new olaes. I tried to call back to speak to the store manager she refused to answer my phone call.
I've never been to a fast food restaurant that allows their employees to harass customers it's a new experience for me.
I should also add that when I called and she was rude to me on the phone she was screaming at the other employees to do their tasks. In the drive-thru the employees seemed very afraid of her and I feel very bad for everyone that works with that person.

My wife and I got a 6 pack and a pound for dinner. There was no customers at the store and it took 10-15 minutes to get our food. When we got the food, our tacos were cold and the potato oles were unseasoned. This location is not a great restaurant anymore…
