It's been a while since I enjoyed sushi while in AZ. Stopped here to treat myself and was not disappointed. Taste was perfect and presentation great. I need to stop by again and try more items on the menu. Thanks!

We made a reservation, but it still took a while for the server to take our order with the place all but empty. The salad came out with a puddle of water in the bottom of the bowl. We all dumped the water into a dish and had a small bowlful. Miso was fine. sushi was okay. Hibachi chicken was really tough, close to inedible. There was a $5.25 up charge to get fried rice instead of white! They were a bit stingy on the veggies. (To be fair, we ordered 6 meals for 2 adults and 6 kids). The chef was nice. Did a great job with the traditional show. My daughter picked this place for her 16th birthday and she was really there for the experience. She was not disappointed, which was the point, but the place could really use some TLC. Ducktape on the bathroom ceiling and general disrepair of the place make it look kind of dumpy. I really love doing hibachi, but this was a bit underwhelming. For the cost of eating out these days, I won't be coming back.

Wonderful place to eat. Plenty of variety and good proportions. Wish they update their inline information, I was excited to have broiled mackerel but they don't have that anymore. I got the Manhattan roll instead which was wonderful. Wish I had more of an appetite my fiance got a donburi looked amazing.

Always a great experience! They love the kids and the kids love watching them cook! Great place. Always make a reservation though!
Dietary restrictions: They accommodate allergies well even with hibachi they will cook the shellfish last if they are aware of a shellfish allergy.
Kid-friendliness: They are very kid friendly. They interact and smile at the kids and make it a great experience.
When we arrived it was extremely hot inside the restaurant which was odd since it was already a hot day out? We assumed maybe the air broke and decided to stay and try it because we had heard good things. Our server didn't seem to have time for us and kept wiping sweat off thier brow and then touching our glasses ans plates etc. We ordered 3 sushi rolls and then proceeded to wait almost 20 minutes for them, which is odd because sushi does NOT take that long. Our sushi wasnt terrible but it was not worth the wait or the heat at all. We also were seated in front of a hibachi grill which got lit in the already sweltering environment. Probably wont be back in for a dining experience maybe takeout? But also maybe not with being unsure of when hands were washed etc.

even if you don't get Hibachi, it's still fun to see someone else get it. the serving staff just seems to have more fun too
Food was excellent. Chef was very entertaining. Only downside was the smoke from the grill filled the place, making it hard to breathe at the end of the hibachi meal.

Our Chef was awesome. Did some amazing tricks which included throwing fire with his hand into the onion volcano. I got swordfish and it was very good. Fried rice was also delicious. Yum yum sauce never disappoints. Will definitely be going back here soon. Highly recommend!
