Wide variety of delicious food to fit all tastes. Very affordable considering it is all you can eat. Price includes a variety of drinks and desert items.

I'm a student at UWSP from 2020-current, and i've eaten at Upper Debot for maybe 65% of my meals at UWSP. It is definitely an acquired taste, sometimes they actually have really good food; however, a lot of the time they serve hot garbage that makes your stomach gurgle for the next 10 hours. They also have no Kosher or Halal meals and most stations serve pork as a entree most days. I personally have never gotten sick from Upper Debot but I know people who have. I'll always recommend the DawgDollar meal plan over meal swipes. Overall the food can be good sometimes, service is pretty nice especially with Shelia and the people at the allergy free zone, atmosphere is pretty bad as it kinda smells like washed dishes (highschool/middleschool cafeteria) which can sometimes be a huge turn off.

Food here is good. I personally like the options and haven’t really had anything bad. Wish it wasn’t closed during the only times I’m not in class or sports but I’ll be getting less meal swipes for next semester.

the foods horrible and you cant really check which stations are open without paying to get in. its only cheap compared to eating out, but because they take dog dollars and there's very limited grocery options that take those, its the cheapest option. Plus they wont let us take fruit out anymore, and charge $1 for it downstairs.
Vegetarian options: limited options but they are there. if you eat here regularly you'll get tired of the same 3 options, but thats true of non-vegetarians too.
Parking: literally one 30 min or less spot. might as well be no parking, unless you pay for street parking or come on a weekend when its free. its basically next door to most dorms, so theres little need for parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Theres an elevator to access the second floor where dining is, but its usually very crowded and there are limited wheelchair accessible tables and narrow walkways.
Dietary restrictions: Theres only one station that offers food without cross contamination for those with allergies. They look like they serve the same 3 things all the time. Common dietary restrictions are marked for each item.
Food is the same pretty much every day, soggy or stale, my high school had better food
Meat is often undercooked

You will get sick if you eat here regularly, there is no avoiding it
I have several allergies and am trying to eat healthier. So I wanted to exempt from the meal plan but they would not let me and make me jump through all these hoops to eat unhealthy garbage and stuff I can not eat.
Almost no Halal or Kosher options. Every station (aside from salad bar) serves pork. Food poisoning multiple times. Avoid a meal plan or get the solely dawg dollars one.
There's a great selection of food, most of the food also has nutritional info available unless it's new, which has helped in my weight loss. Only issue is the times when it is open and closed is somewhat inconvenient, as a result dining outside of campus becomes necessary. Overall though it's a pretty good place!
This dining hall made me lose weight. Some vegetarian options and only a few vegan options. Mid at best.
