Great place to chill, freat appetizers good drinks, recommend the alligator cooked to perfection.

Way overpriced and overrated for average food with terrible service. 20 mins to get a drink, even soda. We couldn't get water refilled, my mother had to go find someone to get hers refilled. I couldn't get my soda refilled unless I asked as the waitress was clearing appetizer plates from our table. Main course took forever to come out and my wife's steak came out 20 mins after everyone elses food, I am not exaggerating. Out of 3 steaks ordered medium rare, 1 was rare, 1 was medium well and the other was medium. This is the second time this restaurant has disappointed us. There won't be a third. We're not about to send them back when it took an hour to get them the first time.
Also extremely loud! We could barely hear each other across the table. Arrived 545, left 800. Do not recommend to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere.

The hostess was crabby and made a mess with our water. Our waitress was fantastic. Very prompt, professional and polite. Food was ehh at best for the price. Very dark, hot and stale inside. $160 for two people.

Looked like it was short staffed for a Saturday (Parents weekend at UWSP). Two servers and a bartender. Manager in the kitchen? At the bar, we were overcharged twice. Our server was very friendly, but obviously overwhelmed. The food, although very good, took quite a long time. Easily a two and a half hour dinner. This is our second time at the restaurant, so maybe just an off night.

While the food and atmosphere were very good we where disappointed with the service. Took along time to get someone to take our order, no one ever checked on us as far as how are food was or if we needed more drinks. Had to go up to the bar to ask for our check. They seemed to have plenty of staff on hand just were not organized. Would definately give them another try in the future.

Our 1st time at Wissoto Chophouse did not disappoint! The food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding! We can't wait to eat there again!

Wonderful server Kayla made the night great. Location is different but once you're inside you forget it is in a hotel in a commercial block.

Food was prepared well. Well seasoned and fresh excepting some old lettuce pieces in the salad. Slow and spotty service at only 25% capacity at 6 PM. Staff is inexperienced and unable to navigate responding professionally and appropriately to customer needs. No manager appeared to be on shift when we dined for dinner. Could not read menus because we were told they ran out of toner.

Our dining experience was fabulous. Our server was knowledgeable, professional and fun. The star was the food, however. The chef prepared everything beautifully. She came out to chat with us and we explained that we had a few dietary requests. She was also extremely accommodating and prepared our food to the exact specifications. Thank you chef, for a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely come back again.

Scallops were good. My Rib Eye was way to salty. Could not eat it. Wife wanted me to send it back. Should of.

Wow! Absolutely amazing food! I learned Eva was the chef, she did an absolute fabulous job! Our amazing server and barender was Kayla. Even Alex from the back of the house came out and asked how everything was. 😉 We felt like royalty, the service was outstanding!

My husband had two oysters in the half shell on ice with lemon and the cutest little bottle of hot sauce! Next time, he's getting more. 😁 He had the 14 oz ribeye with the wild mushroom medley, medium rare, I had the gourmet burger with truffle fries. We also got the Ceasar salad and mushroom risotto to share! And the bread! Fabulous!

We will definitely return. Highly recommend you giving it a try, you will not regret it!

The food was amazing. Best steak ever! Shareable were delicious. We had Brussel sprout's they were very good.

Really good food! The server/bartender Liv is also super knowledgeable about wine and cocktails (and mocktails), and all the staff is really friendly. I was staying at the hotel for a week visiting the university, and the restaurant staff here made it a great experience. It's certainly pricey for the area, but you'll be hard pressed to find a restaurant with as good or better food in Stevens Point (maybe PJs at Sentry, but who wants to drive after having good cocktails?) Plus, this place does good happy hour specials 4-6 PM and has amazing cakes for dessert!

Ella did a great job serving my table everything was meticulously timed to perfection and all the food was spread out in a perfect manner as well. She was very sweet and made us feel very comfortable here.
