“My mom in law took the less stressful route for our turkey dinner again this year, and Castle Rock didn’t disappoint. We could not have made our meal ourselves for the reasonable price we paid for turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing, rolls, cold slaw, and cherry pie. She added homemade cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes, her homemade pecan pie, and we bought a pumpkin pie at Costco. Everything was delicious!”

“My daughter and I go in there weekly since it's one of her favorite places to eat. Matt is there most times we go in and he is by far her favorite employee (which shes told him) that works there. He is great and patient with her while she orders her sub (she's 4...so it takes a bit sometimes, but there is no pressure on her to hurry up). There is a younger girl (I can't remember her name) who is great as well!! Those 2 make our experience amazing every time. For them to acknowledge my daughter and let her order for herself is amazing since not all employees do that. When I get the girls name I'll add it here as both her and Matt deserve a huge shout out!! Thank you both for everything you do!!”

“This is the second time our family has had a great meal. Steak tips were plentiful (18) tender and tasty. Pizza was also delicious. A good amount of toppings that didn't overwhelm the slightly crunchy thin crust or make it greasy. The one server working was attentive and seemed to keep up with our table and 3 other large families. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere, just a nice, comfortable restaurant and bar suitable for all ages, at least during dinner. Not sure what the vibe is later in the evening.

“Nice casual place to grab a bite. Fairly empty when we went in but filling up as we left. Decent selection on the menu and friendly service from the staff. Would be a nice place for a family meal. Note that the place didn't look open when we arrived. I looked around the back and saw an OPEN sign lit up, but it could have been clearer. Still, nice diner.

Dietary restrictions: As someone with celiac disease I was a bit nervous. I wasn't sure the waitress understood what I was asking or perhaps knew the ingredients enough.

Parking: There's off-street parking available right on the property. Plenty of spots.

Kid-friendliness: I don't know if they had crayons, coloring books, or similar, but they had a high chair for a baby while we were there and the place seems very laid back.”

The curbside pickup in the morning has gotten very SLOW in the last few months. They used to be fairly quick, but now we will sometimes wait in the stall for 10-15 minutes after clicking "I'm here" and entering our stall number in the app.”
