great food, awesome service! will be back!
We're in the area for a Cross Country event and my wife was wanting to hit a fish fry. She Googled places in the area and settled on this spot. We gave our order, and it's been 87 min since the order has been placed and we're still waiting for our food. The kids just got their pizza (which they like - but they were starving when we left the hotel, so they'd eat anything). It would have been nice of our server to keep an eye on us, and after 45 min, get in the kitchen to find out...read full review

Based on reviews, Wheeler's Ellenboro Saloon offers excellent food and drinks in a welcoming environment. The owners are great and the best you could ask for anywhere. The food is great, beer is cold, and the staff is friendly, courteous, and diligent. The smash burger and the reuben were the best ever. The pork tenderloin is a monster and massive. The soft pretzel stick with mustard dipping sauce is perfect. Ellenboro features fresh non frozen beef from the owners' own cattle. The atmosphere is very comfortable, clean, affordable, and enjoyable all the way around. There always seems to be something fun and exciting going on. It is a saloon within a small community that many locals frequent but are welcoming to others.
