The barbecue ribs were spectacular, perfectly tender and expertly charred. The ravioli florentine did not disappoint either and the homemade chips were perfectly seasoned. I can't wait until it's safe to dine in again so I can eat here in person.
We ordered carryout for a birthday party. The pulled pork platter was very good. The meat was tender and juicy. The corn bread....so so. The Gyros and Etouffee was good. The big disappoinment were the ribs. They were very dry and overdone. I would stick with the pulled pork platter next time.
Surprisingly EXCELLENT food in an unexpected place. Small town restaurant that claims to serve Kansas City style barbecue. We drive to Kansas City for barbecue so my attitude was, yeah, sure, KC barbecue in small town Wisconsin? Well, don't judge a book by its cover! My husband had a rib and pulled pork platter. Everything including the potatoes flavored with olive oil and rosemary were worth driving from Chicago to experience.
