Took my family of 4 out there as we were leaving door county. We randomly chose this place for fish fry searching on the map after checking out 5 other fish place. Other places in sturgeon bay was tourist trap over price or long waits.This place I have to say have the best fish fry I’ve ever had. The breaded fish was cooked perfectly, large portions. I had the combo fish fry that had 3 types of fish and with scallops and shrimp. It wasn’t over or under cooked. My kids are generally picky and ordered wings and burgers which was very tasty and fresh and ate it no problem. The food appearance was freshly made and you can tell it wasn’t sitting out. I’ve been to many fish fry through out WI and this has to be my top 2. It’s one of those local bars in a small hicksville town that looked like a dump on the outside but the inside was modern, up to date and very clean and good food. You can tell other customers there hanging at the bar were locals and friendly, we were surprise it wasn’t packed. Don’t judge a book by its cover. I’m glad we came here and will definitely stop here again. The waitress with the glasses was very nice.Small concern, the table we sat at was next to the bathroom by the mailbox..it wasn’t too bad as it wasn’t busy but perhaps put some kind of foldable walls to block the bathroom into the tables just in case it gets busy so we don’t have to see or smell the bathroom while eating. Hey, it’s a bar so in guess I can’t really complain about the layout.

So both bathroom door are propped open, the kitchen door as well. Not overly appetizing. The server has complete tats in a sleeveless tee, again not what you would expect. Nice people, lots of video gambling games, ok food. Expected more, and clearly local. Expected more, and not sure why. Skip

Stopped here while snowmobiling for lunch. I ordered a prime rib sandwich on special and my husband ordered an appetizer with a mix of cheese curds, tacos, and more. My sandwich was really good and I was shocked how big it was. It was a great deal for a big prime rib steak on toast. The service was also really great and the waitress was really nice and was there quickly if we needed anything. I can't wait to return to door county and stop by here again.

I really like this place! Food is great, staff is great, our go to for Friday fish. I'd also recommend the nachos. It's not for the faint of heart though.......not because it's spicy or anything, because the full one comes out in a cake pan it's that big. If I had anything critical to say it would be the place isn't big enough for how great it is!
