If you're looking for 4 a drinking, ok
this is it.
Went 4 fish fry 3 times now.
Perch were the size of minnows, fries soggy and under cooked.
$7 Luke warm beer, no air in the bar area.
Drive 10 minutes north and hit the cornerstone.
UPDATE- saw they had lawyer fish so we thought we would give the a second chance. WHAT A MISTAKE. Just as bad as before. Only thing we know 4 sure about this place is were never going back!

Island Fever has the best breakfast in Door County! The yogurt (made in house), Avacado toast, Icelandic pancakes (with real maple syrup) and donuts are all incredible! Highly recommend.

Stopped in for some drinks and appetizers, large selection of drinks and beers. Nachos were great and staff is excellent.

This was the most AMAZING find on our trip! I cannot stress how much I dislike seafood. My fiancé had me try the Fever Shrimp and I could NOT stop eating it! Great burger, queso, and a friendly staff. a must stop for anyone in the area!

My wife was excited to see a portobello mushroom sandwich on the menu. She loves them. When it came, she took a bite, and immediately put it down saying it tasted disgustingly like dirt. The unpleasant young manager came over and asked, "What's wrong with it?" When she told him, he grunted something about having one for lunch today, saying, "it was fine." Not sure why he thought we cared about what he had for lunch. He then begrudgingly agreed to provide her with another meal choice. The saving grace was that the waiter was awesomely pleasant. Needless to say, between the nasty mushroom and manager, we won't be back.

I recently visited Island Fever Rum Bar & Grill, and while I had high hopes for the experience, it felt quite mixed overall. First off, the atmosphere is definitely a standout feature. It’s fun, warm, and inviting, which instantly puts you in a relaxed mood as soon as you walk through the door. The decor and vibe of the place really do capture that island feel, making it a nice spot to unwind with friends or family.

I sipped on a refreshing cocktail, which was quite enjoyable. They really know how to craft a drink that complements the laid-back environment. My mom ordered a hamburger and fries, and unfortunately, this is where we hit a snag. The food just did not live up to our expectations; it was far from great. The hamburger was bland, and the fries lacked the crispiness we were hoping for. After hearing so much about the menu, I was truly disappointed, as I was really hoping for something delicious and memorable.

Despite the letdown with the food, I did get the feeling that Island Fever could still be a place I would want to return to, especially just for drinks. It has a vibe that makes you want to hang out, and perhaps try something different off the menu next time. Overall, while the atmosphere and drinks are worth the visit, the food needs significant improvement to turn this into a must-try destination. I would likely come back, but only for another round of those cocktails!

We went for Friday night fish, had the perch and it was delicious. They were very busy but our waitress wasted no time in getting our drink order and taking our food order. Meet one of the owners and he was very personable and thanked us for stopping in.

I ordered the fish tacos. They did not have as much flavor as I thought and hoped they would. They were not the worst, but not the best I have had. The service was great. They were very helpful in getting a table outside that we could have our dog with us.
Our server was very nice , she was from Columbia, it was fun to meet her as she was working in Door County for the summer and heads back home at the end of the season. I would go back and try something different.
