This is a must stop for lunch in Sturgeon Bay, old fashioned bar and grill, best for burgers, soups and bar food! The history was really fun to hear about. Best pricing for a great meal. The only down side is they are not very gluten-free friendly for sandwiches.

I am a local customer in SB and have been going regularly to the Red Room for 47 years. I have never been so publicly embarrassed and humiliated in my life by one of the owners of this establishment. I mistakenly directed my $7 or $8 lunch tip to be delivered to the female bar maid/server instead of the owner who had served my orders. He took exception to my direction to where I wanted my tip to go and made it clear that he was visibly irritated at my innocent mistake. After I finished lunch I tracked him down outside where he was sulking and offered him his cash tip as well which he vehemently denied and refused to take. Why would I want to ever go back into this bar and give them any additional business? He lost a customer for life over a $7.00 misdirected tip. I hope he feels justified by his childish and uncalled-for behavior.

If you want a cheap meal with a beer, this is your place. The burgers are good for their price, the draft prices are probably the best in the town, and the bartender is very customer oriented.
I recently visited the Red Room at 66 S 3rd Ave, in Sturgeon Bay, WI. It's a nice quiet bar and I sat and sampled a few beverages. A nice place to go.
