Definitely a local spot in the area! Went for a fish fry, food was alright, just nothing special. Seems like a good local bar!

Food came fast, the waitress was very nice. The burgers were amazing and very juicy, and the ghost pepper cheese bombs are awesome they are like grilled cheese cubes with a kick to them. Would go again!

Three of us walked over to the Roadhouse after some wine tasting across the street. The bar is small in there so in order for the three of us to fit I had to angle my bar stool at the corner. I was told I couldn’t sit there because she needed to get to the dining area, which had no customers btw. I said there was room for her to get thru and she rudely said just don’t get in my way. A moment later two people showed up and she purposely ran into my stool to exaggerate how it was such a bother. Linda aka Karen is about 5 inches wide from what I assume is from previous or current crack addiction. She must have shared this with the burly guy from the kitchen because he then came out and said now that she has people I would have to move….and we did ,right out the door. If you are not a local I suggest you stay away as Linda has a chip on her shoulder from the second you walk in…I wish I would have read more reviews before subjecting ourselves to the rudest bartender I’ve ever experienced. Good luck on your recovery, all of Carlsville must be rooting for you.

Linda was super rude from the second we walked in. Tried to find a spot at the bar, and she immediately warned us not to get in her way. We made sure she had plenty of room to get by us but she still seemed upset we existed. She actually ran into my mother in laws chair on purpose to passive aggressively tell her she was in fact, in her way. She must of complained in the back because then, the cook came out and said we had to move and told my mother in law she had to sit in the corner by herself.
We got up and left. Will not be going back there.

DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS!!!! We did not eat here, nor would I ever after our confrontation with who I assume was the owner. We simply pulled into the parking lot to turn around and the guy chased us down, screaming at us for being in his lot, he jumped in front of our vehicle and wouldn't move. We backed up and he proceeded to run around the side of my vehicle, punched the window and the door, then threw his cigarette butt on my vehicle. He not only did this to us. He went after a car with 2 young girls in it also.

Not sure what the negative reviews are about ..I guess you get what you give. Perch was delicious, fries, coleslaw, and curds were all really good and it was large portions. Waitress was friendly and food came out in a good amount of time for everything being freshly made.
Kid-friendliness: Took two kids with me, both were happy. They don't have a "kids menu" but I never use those anyways.

Whatever the ladies name was that worked on 07/27 afternoon was the nastiest person I've ever encountered at a restaurant! We weren't greeted, we were yelled at a to how the to play the slot machines, every time we asked for something she huffed and said "yeah" with such an attitude and nasty look on her face. At one point she actually slapped her leg and made a loud huff! She would just place stuff on the table and storm off and not even ask us if we needed anything or how everything was. This person does NOT belong in a service industry! We did notice that she was very pleasant to the locals, but everyone else she ignored and had an attitude. I was a waitress for years and even the rudest customers that I had, I would NEVER treat anyone that way!

I had originally stopped at Door County Coffee to pick up goodies, but the line was out the door. The Roadhouse in Carlesville is immediately across the street. There was one bartender/server, but she brought me my beverage immediately. There's a big shaded porch with seating. The restaurant had ceiling fans, so even in the hot, humid weather, it was very comfortable. There's a pool table available.
My burger was delicious: thick and juicy, and fries some of the best ever! Demands another visit!!
DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! Place is a scam! They only take cash and there’s no sign or anything posted. If you have to go to the ATM it’s a $3 charge! Food is way overpriced too!

Went in for dinner on a Friday night. Had the fried cod dinner. The fish was cooked beautifully, it was very flavorful and the breading was light and crispy. This came with homemade potato salad, coleslaw, and rye bread, all were very good. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had. The service was fast and friendly. This is a cash only restaurant; however this is posted on the menu so you know before ordering.
Parking: Nice large, free, parking lot, right next to the building.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very nice ramp available
