Do NOT sleep on this cafe. Delicious breakfast, Marchant’s burgers, fantastic pancakes, right on the corner of the main drag in Sturgeon Bay. So glad we stopped by!

I describe these as "Hash Whites.". This happens when the cook starts flipping and chopping them up on the grill. Cooks, put a good amount of butter or oil down, put the potatoes on top and DON'T touch them till you see the edges are browned. Flip once and brown the other side and serve.

The food was tasty and filling for a great price! And the lady who took our order was one of the sweetest people I have ever met!

Traditional breakfast diner with terrific service, great food, in typical atmosphere for a diner. My go-to place for breakfast in Sturgeon Bay.

Cute breakfast spot but super slow so don’t be in a hurry also the waitress is very rude despite being in a tourist location one would think the staff would be a little kinder.

I love my local Cafe, always friendly, great service tho I sit at the counter to catch up on local chat. Food is good and inexpensive.

Kid-friendliness: The servers and cook came out to entertain my friends baby girl.

Stoped in one late October Sunday morning on our way back to Kenosha from Door County. The place was busy and that was a good sign, we sat at the counter. The counter seating gave you a bird's eye view as to the goings on in the kitchen. Two ladies working well together and putting out solid dishes in a timely manner is what I saw. Has a real hometown greasy spoon feel to it and that's just what I like. Would certainly stop back through if in the area again. Great job!!

We have supported this local restaurant for years. We live here year-round and over the years have also brought guests to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant changed hands a while back and concurrently we witnessed a dramatic decline in the quality of service. It was once a happy, friendly place with decent food. We sat at the counter today as the restaurant was very busy. We were completely ignored by two separate waitresses that had to pass by numerous times to pick up food orders. Finally one tossed a couple of menus on the counter. The other one finally came by and asked what we would like to drink. I said both coffee and tried to order the special. She stopped me mid-sentence and said, "DRINKS!". She put the coffee in front of us and said she'd be back for our order. At this point we already had at least twenty minutes invested. We had a couple of sips; noticed her standing around at a distance; and made the wise choice to leave $5 and go. She always has a sour look on her face and a rude attitude. We are won't be back.

As locals, we make it a point to support local businesses, including this one, often in the winter time when customers are scarce. We can no longer support this "restaurant "as the food is mediocre at best, but the service is truly awful, one young lady in particular is very rude. Today she was particularly nasty. We left without ordering. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place for breakfast or lunch.

Didn’t even get a chance to sit down and eat, most unorganized chaotic mess I’ve ever experienced. Waitresses had no clue as to what was going on!
