We have been coming here for years. Use to love it but the last 2 times have a eye opener. The menu is ok inaccurate. It says you get 2 sides but get charged for one. Waited a long time for drinks because bar tender doesn't always look at printer. This has Happened last 3 times waited for 1/2 hr, in the mean time people came in after and got drinks 1st. Very disappointing. Probably our last time with several friends

We have been patrons for over 2 years and loved eating in / ordering out but somethingâs changed.
After last nightâs final attempt at redemption, we wonât be going back to The Black Frog. We sat at the bar for 10 mins w/out service while we waited for our to-go order. My Brandy Old-Fashion Sweet was not a good mix-for $6.50, I expected more.
Our dinner portions were a joke! The chicken was overcooked and the fish portion could have been considered as a âthickâ fish stick. Not to mention the cold french fries!
We are not sure what has happened to the cooking and wait staff, but we wonât be going back any time soon.

I love this place. We found it several years ago after hiking nearby. The fried chicken is moist and not heavily breaded and the biscuits are amazing! Itâs cozy and everyone is friendly. I also love the italian cream cake.

The food is very good. The service is extremely slow. The server did not know the menu and couldn't answer basic questions about the food. She was unorganized and it took 20 minutes for her to put our check together, (there were two of us on our check) and it was wrong the first time. Luckily we were not in a hurry. Hopefully she gets better. Would hate to stop coming here.

Love the fish fry. Service was a little slower than usual. I think they may have been short staffed. The bartender is slow to get drinks for the dining room. He seems more interested in just the people at the bar. Love the fish fry
Different visit The haddock fish fry is fantastic. Large portion. The bartender is much better now and the service is top notch. This is a must visit if your interested town or passing through. My wife loves the cheeseburger

Really nice retro atmosphere, like walking into a bar and grill you would expect to find up north. Our waiter was very attentive and quickly got anything we requested. I had the chicken, and it was outstanding! Crispy skin and moist and tender inside. Some veggies and a roll along with an old fashioned rounded out the dinner. I will definitely go there again!
