Food is amazing. Always hot and fresh! Best chicken and ribs hands down! Mild Sauce and hand cut fries! The sides are sooo good as well. I have had the dressing, yams, mac n cheese and spaghetti. Also the best catfish I have ever had. The only issue I have when I go there is deciding what to order because everything is so good. Even the next day the chicken and fries are good cold lol! Also they are very friendly. My entire family loves this place we drive from Beaver Dam weekly to eat here!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. My curiosity about this place was greatly rewarded! My family is from the south and collards, & yams are staples for any big family meal. Mcgee’s might just have better collards than my mom and grandma make. That is CRAZY for me to contemplate. Even my 6yo daughter cleared her plate of collards and fish! I didn’t see that coming. This place is delicious! The lemon pepper fish was awesome! Everything was so good. You have to try it!

I was so happy about trying this place the lady was welcoming on the phone. When I got to the restaurant to get my food she had a very stank attitude I waited for my food for an hour while she was eating food while serving customers. When I finally got my food it was only a little bit of fries I asked the lady who took my order is this the size portion for a chicken meal she stated yes she disrespectfully said “her husband cooked the food that’s what he gave me and that’s what I’m going to have.” I asked her was she serious she said yes she is because I’m talking to the owner/ manger.The food is okay but not worth the disrespect take your money elsewhere!

It's just ok. Showed up 40 mins before closing. Grill is turned off 1hr 15 min before closing, ok that's fine, but half the menu is gone. Chicken was hot and fresh, 25 min wait for it, that's ok. Atmosphere was barren, not even a garbage inside. Just
