Monk's Bar & Grill

Visited Monk's Bar and Grill for a late lunch. My friend and I both had salads. They were good portion sizes and great tasting. We also had the brownie with ice cream, which really hit the spot. It wasn't oversized and not overly sweet. The wait staff was attentive and took great care of us. I would definitely return.

We went right at open and were immediately seated. Our waitress was quick but not rushing us. Food came out fresh and hot! We both ordered burgers.

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, spacious dining room with lots of tables.

Enjoyed meeting up with friends there, while in Wisconsin. Servers handled large group very well. Food was great.

Great food, was very disappointed in the bar drink my wife ordered, told the waitress what was wrong with it and put it to the side, was left untouched after first sip, had to request it to be taken off the bill after seeing she still charged us for it. Was told that there have been alot of issues with the person who made the drink when they finally took it off the bill (shouldn't have had to ask IMO).

Really nice place with great service super friendly staff. Honestly me and my family just didn't really prefer the food we all had different things and for the price we paid it just wasn't our personal favorite but it wasn't bad we all are at least half our food. Just not great

Live bugs in the salad mix. Found at minimum 6 bugs crawling in the salad and at least 3 dead.

Called and received refund and mentioned that salad mix should be thrown away.

Pizza fries are not just "garlic bread sticks" they need to change this menu item or the name. Otherwise awesome place

The food was very good, and the atmosphere pleasant--as always. Monk's is a good place to eat. The real star of the visit was our server, Alina. My husband and I often split an entree, and we've had some servers (not at Monk's) get snarky about it. (Too much food seems to be an industry standard, so sharing is our way not to waste food). Not only was Alina great about it, she split the order onto two plates, and rearranged the presentation to make the split look amazing! She did this for everyone at our table! If I could give her 6 stars, I would gladly do it. We'll be back!!! P.S. She smelled great too!

Food was delicious and the service was great! I only gave 4 stars because it was fairly pricey. $95 for 4 people. Would go again though if we are in the area and have extra money to splurge.

Nice place. I had a bacon cheese burger with Swiss cheese, Lorri had the Jalapeno bacon. As you can see, we were halfway thru our meal before I remembered to review it. The fries are veer battered. At first I didn't think the batter thing would make a difference ... it DOES. The tots? I didn't find them spectacular. Tasted like the grease needed changed. Otherwise the burgers were great.

Parking: It may look full, but it's not.

Here to shout out our server, Alena. We came in near closing as an 8 top and had top notch service.

Tried the Monk's in Sun Prairie and had a great experience. Becky was our server and she was spectacular! Could not have been nicer. We both had cheeseburgers done to order. They offered a cucumber and hummus side instead of fries or chips. Great option. Nice and light. Kudos to whoever put that on the menu.
