Roots Coffeehouse

This is a wonderful, welcoming cafe with fresh pastries and delicious drinks. Our mocha and matcha drinks were terrific, warming us up on a cold WI winter day! The best part is the incredibly friendly team that made me feel like part of the family during my visit! The owner Chris and her daughter are incredibly friendly and they go out of their way to make friends of customers! This is our new go-to coffeehouse when we pass through Sun Prairie!

The food here is excellent but, what really sets this coffee shop apart is the people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place you want to linger and come back to again and again.

Thou shalt enjoy this most Calm & Peaceful vibe. In the beginning the barista created thine latte from the (w)holiest of Sassy Farms milk and was most pleased. The temptation of a cinnamon & orange 🍊 donut was too much. I repented to other patrons it was delicious & will be back soon! You’d never cuss in church ⛪️ so don’t cuss here. Wonderful & caring staff tend this extremely clean coffee shop. Peace be with you.

This place is so peaceful and the atmosphere is great for conversation or getting work done. Love the seasonal drinks and the avocado BLT sammie is to die for.

If I could give Roots a millions stars I would!

I am absolutely in love with this place. I’ve had them on my route during peak at UPS and it has been the highlight of my route. I’ve stopped here almost daily for my lunch break and I am hooked. I should just start giving them my paychecks at this point.

Not only is the food amazing, you walk in and you just feel at home- Like you just walked through front door of your after a crazy day at work and can breath a sigh of relief. It’s like you are family. I love all of the staff, you can tell the food is made with love and by humans who genuinely love what they do. It is a wonderful place. Every time I walk in, I feel a jolt of happiness! If I’m ever in a crummy mood as soon as I walk in my mood is cured. Roots is the best happy pill there is.

I love it here so much. I am going to be heart broken once peak is over and I move on to a different route. You guys made a crazy peak so much better. I couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you for everything! For feeding me, for caffeinating me and most of all making me happy.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Roots. I go nearly every Saturday (if possible) since August to read, write or work on projects. The atmosphere is so bright and airy the moment you walk in. The decor is simple, but eclectic. Which I love. I've been to other coffee places in the past and they are just dark and heavy feeling. None of them have ever made me feel this good to just get up and go spend a chunk of my day at. On top of that, the staff are all phenomenal! So friendly and happy. They gice off this feeling of a tight nit family that enjoys seeing the community they make coffee for. It's more than a job to them, and it truly shows. The food and drinks are just as great. I may be biased towards their Blesses Berry Acai Bowl though. Love it! Lol. I am an avid Chai and Matcha drinker, but decided a few weeks ago to try their holiday special, White Chocolate Gingerbread Latte. Oh my!!! I am NOT a coffee person at all! But this latte is ALL I can think about during the week. It's my go to order right now, and that says a lot. I have never liked any lattes before.

So, if you're looking for a beautiful spot to bring a friend to catch up or looking for a place with good coffee and a chill vibe... Roots is where it's at. Highly recommend.

Ah yum! Great find off the beaten path. Easy parking, which is a problem in SP. Laid back atmosphere, caring and friendly barista, more than just carbs on the menu. Might be a new favorite!
