Working here was one of the most stressful experiences I've ever had. While the owner, Junior, is wonderful and genuinely cares about the business and staff, the same cannot be said for the bar manager. Her management style is extremely controlling and unprofessional. Employees are often spoken to harshly and often yelled at, in front of customers even, creating a tense and uncomfortable work environment. There's a clear lack of respect and boundaries - the manager frequently oversteps into employees' personal lives, despite being told it makes people uncomfortable.
Micromanagement is constant, even when the manager isn't physically present. The cameras are watched excessively, and employees' actions - even outside of work - are monitored and commented on. It's invasive and gives the impression that she's more focused on controlling people than running a healthy workplace. The turnover rate is very high, and it's easy to see why. This workplace could be great with the right leadership, but as it stands, the environment is toxic and unsustainable for most people.
Advice to management:
Replace the current bar manager or have her go through extensive retraining, so she can learn to respect her employees' privacy, trust her team to do their jobs, and focus on professionalism and communication rather than intimidation and control.

As a bartender myself, I've never met a bartender who hated her job more in her life. Sitting on the cooler, vaping and acting like customers are bothering just for asking for something, it was the worst service I've ever received in a bar. Find a different line of work if you hate your job that much. I'd skip this bar entirely.

The Barkeeps behind the bar are always really friendly and respectful(not to me though they are bullies) haha besides the awesome staff and awesome atmosphere Builders is the place to go if you're looking for a fun night, especially on Saturday and Fridays they have two separate areas one for karaoke and the other for more of that nightlife club style. Overall builders has it all from drinks to food to music, promise they won't disappoint.

DJ LOGAN is always the main person we all come to see!! For the last 2 years straight I’ve only seen him playing to a packed house more than anyone I’ve witnessed before. We only come when Logan is DJ!! He’s always nice and kind to everyone no matter how much they have drank. I don’t know anyone else who can get the dance floor packed and keep the vibes rolling all night long.
