Waitress was not friendly at all, food was VERY expensive, at least $12 for a thin poor quality veggie omelete. She screwed up something as basic as remembering to get my English muffin. I got crappy quality white toast instead. There were no other people inside when I walked in. Coffee is weak and cheap quality. Inside is very dated and not well maintained. Only open 8 hours per day, closed on M TU. Go to Julie's or Duluth Grill! NEVER AGAIN! ?????

Although it was lunch time, my sister likes breakfast foods best, & as out-of-towners, we did a search on our phone for restaurants close by that served breakfast-type food, & discovered K.D.'s close by. We stopped in & both ordered the French Toast. It was delicious! Sis also ordered bacon & shared with me & it was cooked to perfection. We said if we ever came back to the Duluth Superior area, we would stop here again for breakfast! It was not only good tasting, but was very inexpensive. Our waitress was very friendly also. The restaurant was not a "gorgeous" looking place, but we didn't go there for the ambiance but rather the food. And it was good food!

stopped in for lunch traveling. basic decor and comft food. tho very good enjoyed it. only conplaint is they do not have any soda from the machine. Therefore if u want a saoda is brought to you in a can. Which also means no refills. otherwise i was happy with service and food.

They fired a wonderful waitress who kept that place in line during the weekends. I am a regular on Saturdays with a larger group of friends and today was just a disaster. They completely skipped taking one of our orders and walked away and then after waiting over an hour for food 3 out of 9 people got nothing, and every other order was wrong or missing something. Mine in particular was wrong twice and the second time came out with hair in it. This is highly disappointing as this was a go to breakfast place with AMAZING food and staff. Today we waited so long and so many things were wrong we just gave up and left. They did comp the food we did get so at least they were trying to own their mistake. This is just an unfortunate turn for them.

8 hours explosive diarrhea 3 adults 1 toilet we we're really excited to get our food yesterday. We ordered some Crepes and the Swedish pancakes. I remember having them before about a year ago and how good they were. Imagine my surprise when I got sour batter that ended up getting everyone in the house sick. I only had a couple bites and still spent the entire day running in and out of the bathroom as well as everyone else who ate the food. and then I see that other people on the same day on Google hours after I had let them know the batter was bad we're reporting of bad batter from the restaurant. the level of physical pain we went through while our bodies violently expelled this food over and over again will keep me from ever eating at this restaurant again
Have been to visit many times love the restaurant. I have long history with this restaurant before it became K d's and I gotta say I love what they've done with the place.

This has become our weekly breakfast plan because it's so good. Amazing french toast (my favorite of all their options), pancakes, omelettes, and even breakfast steaks.It's like a old fashioned breakfast place. Great prices, tons of food. The wait staff is attentive, efficient, and just great people.Homemade touches like the bread are used in many of their dishes. And their homemade Carmel rolls are something really special. They are sweet but not overly sweet with an interesting mix of flavors.I am constantly impressed by how fast the chef is, I timed once from us ordering to when our food arrived was less than 10 minutes. Not what I expected given the excellent quality.While I mainly go for the breakfast they are also open for dinner and they serve a full menu of excellent dinner options. Tons of options, flavorful and well prepared. Star of the dinner menu: literally any meat option.
