Trophy Lodge Bar and Grill

First time here, never even new it existed, only found it because everywhere else was booked up for Valentines Day. Amazing lodge, with views, cool bar, great service, great food and reasonably priced! We will def be back!

We sure wished that our first time experience would've been good. Road to restaurant was blocked(lot full), and I had to find someone in nearby building to ask questions about getting there. (Signage would've helped) They radioed shuttle service and eventually a suburban came to get us. Dropped us off, entered the restaurant. No greeter/hostess available to guide us to our 6 PM reserved seating for 2, so we found a couple chairs open at the bar. Took 15 min to even be acknowledged or looked at. Another customer next to us said they must take a class on how NOT to look at guests. Honestly, it was very busy so we tried to be patient. I finally got the attention of a man to get a drink order (a pitcher of beer that was sitting at the draft taps meant for another customer outside was given to us) we quickly asked for a menu while we had his attention. For 45 minutes (yes, that long) we were not looked at, acknowledged or approached to ask for our order. Yes, it was busy, everyone looked overwhelmed, yet lemons and limes were being sliced, ice was replenished in front of us and we were not looked at! We would have really appreciated a "sorry, it's a crazy night, I will be with you in a moment", or something of the sort. We finally gave up and grabbed the attention of another staff to get our bill for the pitcher. I tried to tell her that it would've been nice to at least be acknowledged (we were being very polite and reasonable) during that hour. She told us "it never gets like this", and some other remarks about other customers causing an issue. We gave cash for the pitcher and altho it wasn't much, she kept the change and didn't offer it back to us. Upon leaving, we took some pretty photos of the sky (it really is beautiful up there!) and couldn't find anyone to help us with getting the shuttle. We ended up walking down the road to the lower parking lot, where we found the shuttle parked at the bottom. Customer service retraining?

Bartender was fun and fast, plus she was training another girl that night.

The food amazing and staff was freindly. . Our server was truly amazing. She told us the history of the lodge and gave great advice on the menu. Definitely would go back.

Had a GREAT experience. As new visitors, our waitress let us shift tables for a better outside view. Although she was alone that night, she rocked the service. Food was exceptional. Some of the best Prime Rib and Steak Medalions we've ever had. Flavorful and so tender and cooked to perfection. Not a cheap steakhouse, -median priced, but you do get what you pay for.

Were there on a Thursday night and it was very quiet. Service was excellent as was the food. The views were spectacular! Our only suggestion was that it would have been nice to have signs under the trophies to indicate what some of them were. Will for sure be going back again.

Awful. Had reservations and then stuck at an oversized table for four people under the stairs. Prime rib was literally the worst in town. Definitely in no rush to return. If you are a guest staying overnight you might have a good experience. Screw off if not, apparently.

This is a wonderful spot for dinner. The views were great. This is definitely worth the trip up the mountain.

Wonderful waiters. They were under staffed but somehow delivered service with a smile and patience despite being overwhelmed. My meal was terrible but I would be willing to go back and try something else due to their good customer service.

I had no idea the restaurant on top of the ski hill was the quality it turned out to be. Easy car access. Nice selection of tap beers too. Makes me want to strap on my skis and make this a weekly pilgrimage.

Beautiful place, our waiter wasn't the best. I was expecting a bit more from a place this nice.

This is a great date place. The food is very good and not too expensive. The view is awesome. Just make sure your date is OK with the stuffed animal heads. I really like the place and you can come by boat or car. Staff is warm and friendly. This place deserves the 5 stars

We came early for dinner before a comedy show. It was already starting to get busy. We were seated right away. The waitress was great and we had our food pretty quickly. The grilled Salmon was absolutely delicious!!! My husband said his steak was just as good. The comedy show was a lot of fun, we enjoyed our time at the Trophy Lodge very much, and the views are stunning!!!! We will be back.
