Papa Johns Pizza

We placed an online order for 9 items at 4 p.m., requesting a 6 p.m. delivery for my daughter's birthday party. We called at 6:20 p.m., asking for an ETA. Our order was still not ready for delivery. I told them to cancel the delivery and that I would come pick it up to speed up the process. They said that would be fine and that they would refund the delivery fee and driver tip. I arrived at the location at 6:35 p.m. to find out that my order was still not ready. Finally, at 6:55 p.m. they called my name. At which point, a Doordash driver said that he was waiting for 20 min in the lobby for my order. He then left upset, having to cancel himself with Doordash and having wasted his time. I then asked someone on the staff about receiving my delivery refund. After a few minutes of looking at the computer, she said that she was unable to refund me because the delivery was already sent to Doordash. So I just left with my food.

I ordered a pizza online and when it arrived it had hardly any of the three toppings I ordered on it. When I spoke to the manager she told me she topped it and "gave me more than usual." Horrible customer service. No desire to make it right.

The pizzas are made super quick, they update their app immediately with where your pizza is at, and pizzas are made well. There is one employee that is always there and works her tail off and does a great job. This location is better than some of the surrounding locations. It is one of our cheap go to dinners and they don’t disappoint

Stuffed crust pizza is amazing. The boneless chicken wings were disappointing. They are really just chicken nuggets and had sauce drizzled over them, not covered in sauce like the website images show

Don't try calling. Really annoying voice with disco music yakking about rewards OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! Next, the RUDE lady who FINALLY answered after pressing random buttons to be rid the the voice of doom, HUNG UP on us after we told her about the voice... Never did order our pizza. Have been eating at papa John’s for years, Was happy when they finally put one in Sussex but has been nothing but trouble. Messed up the ordered and delivered the food 2 hours late. They said they would issue a credit, I called today and was told that the manager quit and never added any credit.

Absolutely just a ridiculous location. Figured I’d save some money ordering directly instead of through an app and that was not a good idea. First delivery driver I have ever had to show up with absolutely no money for change and speak no English at all.
