The food was disappointing. I had high hopes because I love Markieke Gouda, I got a bowl of French onion soup. It being a cheese factory I assumed there would be cheese and bread on it, like a traditional French onion soup. So when it didn't it was very disappointing, and a small serving. Then my aunt got a ribeye steak sandwich, she asked for it medium well it was undercooked. When she brought it back to get a grilled cheese, they acknowledged that it wasn't done and gave her the employee discount on the grilled Gouda. The fries and cheese curds are good. Lesson learned great cheese maker not a great restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs, but there is no automatic door opener.
We stopped here for lunch. Quick and friendly service. Great food all made with their yummy Gouda cheese. The cheese curd appetizers were delicious! Don’t forget to check out the store. They have a few cheeses where you can get 5 “Underweight” cheese for $12 with a good variety and definitely bigger than sample size.

Don’t come here if you don’t have well over an hour to sit for a grilled cheese, because they have the slowest service of any restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. Tried twice a year apart, terrible both times. Never again.

Restaurant located in cheese factory on a dairy farm. Ready access off of WI 29 in Thorp. Not a fast food place as far as speed of service. Had retail store with cheese etc for sale. Waitress was good. Kitchen slow.
