I’m a city girl but married to a dairy farm boy. When we toured the side building of calves it was inundated with flies so I asked my husband about this. He’s not a fuss budget but said the stalls were in much need of cleaning . Super saturated with urine and manure. When I challenged him on this he firmly said “they’re dirty. My dad would’ve gotten after me if he’d found the stalls like this. This many babies in size space they are in need extra scooping out. “ Then when I paid more attention to their bodies and not the cute faces some had manure all over their sides and up to their first hock. My husband stated, “They must be short staffed otherwise it would be different.”
I hope next time we stop it’s different.

Great gouda cheese. Interesting to see the cows being milked, cheese being made and 52,000 cheese wheels in aging room.

Good food. I liked the menu items featuring their cheese! I love cheese! I was disappointed they did not have really cream to go with the coffee. Worth the stop for cheese and chocolates in gift shop.

Stellar cheese. Great break on long drives. Place for kids to run around, bounce on a trampoline, bike on homemade go-carts. Grab lunch, split a bottle of wine, pet baby cows, coffee or ice cream - this place has it all

Very nice food, really fun place to visit. Cleanest farm you have ever seen. Fun for little kids as you can see the cows and calves, a bounce pad and carts for the kids to ride. Best is their cheese making operation, fantastic cheese and fun to see the process!

Great selection of gouda. We especially enjoyed the aged ones, notably the Marieke Golden, Cloves, and Chipotle ones. We would have purchased a lot more, however we like to try our cheeses before we buy them, and there were only a couple of types available to sample. Certainly one of the top places to go in the state for great quality gouda. We'll be back!
