We ordered our burgers one medium rare, and one well done. The medium rare 1 was completely rare and well done 1 was still red in the middle. Not a fan.

We just recently had Mesquite cater our wedding and it was one of the best vendor choices we made! We eat at the restaurant often, but somehow the food for catering tasted even better! We had brisket, pulled pork, stuffed chicken, gouda mac & cheese, vegetables, and au gratin potatoes and every single dish was phenomenal.Many guests told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, and many of our out of town guests asked when they could come visit so that we could go back to Mesquite for dinner.I would absolutely recommend Mesquite for dinner and for all of your catering needs. The food was an 11/10, the owner is very accommodating, and the servers at the wedding did a wonderful job!

I stopped in for dinner while I was heading through town. The servers were very attentive and made sure everything was to my liking. The food was excellent - the salad was fresh and crisp, the fresh baked rolls were soft and warm. For the main course I had the smoked brisket and pulled pork combo. The meat was juicy, tender, and the bourbon BBQ sauce topped it off perfectly. I will definitely be back!

First visit here & will definitely be back! Our server, Alyssa was exceptional and very attentive. Salad bar was fresh, fully stocked and included a nice variety. Two homemade soups were an added bonus. We had smoked prime rib and the ribs & chicken combo. All very flavorful and delicious. Don't miss the BBQd beans! Nice work!

We were very disappointed with Mesquite BBQ tonight. First things first, I regarded Mesquite BBQ very highly. Every time we go past Thorp, it's a favorite. I have had the pork street tacos before, they were delicious! Not so much this time. My (3) three pork street tacos had probably an ounce of pork between them. They were served with dry chopped cabbage and sprinkled with dry cheese, and lastly a scant amount of pork on top and no sauce. (3x the cabbage as pork, 2x the cheese as pork), So the 1st time I had the exact same entree, The were juicy, plump with pork, had cilantro, and they were moist not only from the pork, but also from the tasty sauce. I remember because the tacos were a little messy making me ask for extra napkins (good thing). Tonight my tacos were gravely, flavorless, cold and lacked meat. When I told our server that my tacos didn't have very much meat, she made the excuse they had someone in training. 2nd thing, for the place not being very busy.... two other people in the bar, my wife and I, and a table of people in the dining room, we had lousy service. We had to listen to the waitress/bartender finish her conversation with the two guys who were sitting across the bar before she took our order. Then both waitress were MIA for a long time. When we were finished with our meal, the other waitress came back, (the younger one) took payment from the other two guys, bussed the area at the bar, cashed out (her tip) on the register, and started walking away when we had to ask her if we could get our bill. Our drinks had been empty for about 10 minutes before anyone even came back to the bar. This is a difficult review to give of my "favorite BBQ joint". But honestly, they dropped the ball tonight. :(

The server was the only reason I didn't give service 5 stars⭐️. The server just did the bare minimum. I probably could have given service 3⭐️ but I didn't know what the reason was that our server was off there A-Game, so I gave service 4⭐️. Try not to judge people too harshly or too quickly before you know what is going on in their lives. I still gave 20% tip, I love this place, and I still have yet to have a bad experience here.
