“First of all there are a lot of corner bars in this area. Make sure you are at the right one this one is John’s corner bar with the bottle Christmas tree and it is awesome. The bartender was fantastic. The host was awesome and the waitresses did a great job. We were there on a Thursday night, the special was chicken and prime rib chimichangas, they were absolutely fantastic”

“Brown sugar cinnamon smoked old fashioneds are absolutely delicious. Salad bar is top notch. Wait staff is very professional & do a great job. Steaks were very good. We had a group of 6 & everyone was happy with their dinners. We will definitely be back.”

“We seem to only go when they are having their buffets. This was a lent special and it was delicious as always. Of course these are special occasion events so the amount of people that attend these is awesome to see. They are all so friendly and it's always nice to meet new people. Easter and mother's day are coming up who knows what they'll have but be sure to check it out.”

“Came around with homemade donuts for people. Very nice from the time we came in to the time we paid the bill. Food was good. Not a huge portion but okay. My son loved the meat omelet. I had the country fried steak and eggs. It was good. Would have it again.”

“Mmmmm Friday Fish Fry.. Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. They mozzy sticks were hot and fresh, average bar apps. We had the baked haddock and the breaded haddock It took a bit longer for our food because of the baked fish. The beers were plenty cold and the staff friendly…the fish was with the wait! Baked haddock came out piping hot and flavorful. Breaded fish was light and tasty. Prices were in line with the amount of food and quality. We will be back.”

“Great place! Stopped for lunch on the way back from Thanksgiving. Great soup, and the Hurricane Sticks are worth trying. Dawn and her staff have a wonderful place here. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.”

“The Friday Fish Fry buffet is not large, but the taste does not disappoint and is well worth the $15!! Pleasant folks, good food! My only complaint would be that no one asked to get more drinks (we had to go to the bar ourselves), but they kept the water full. However, I understand why and can forgive that.”

“I come with my family to eat as well as sometimes a parent just needs to get away. I also dj for them once in a while. Let me tell you wether I'm a customer or providing a service they always treat me well. Super friendly.”

“The best (perch) fish fry I've ever had, and some unique, pickle heavy potato salad. Not noisy. Owners were the chef and his bartender wife. Classic Wisconsin ambiance.”

“The room, bathroom, and linens were very clean and check-in was simple. Comfortable bed. Excellent value. The little things I noticed: A detached hairdryer. I hate the ones that are attached to the wall. I could use this one in any outlet. Real hangers instead of hangers with posts. So much easier for hanging up clothes. Nice toiletries, including a lovely soap called "sweet grass". It isn't really made of sweet grass. But the mint smell is invigorating and it suds up beautifully. I bought some in the handy shop on the first floor.”

“I am a new employee here my coworkers are awesome. We love it when you come in. Even if we are busy we will try our best to make sure you sandwich is made exactly how you want it. The veggies are free so I'd you would like your sub to be more filled just ask for a little more. We are understaffed at the moment but we are hiring and training new people quickly. If somebody seems like they don't know what they are doing it's because some of us are just learning. Lots of us workers are teens or young adults and we are trying our best to serve you.”
