Food was good. The service was terrible. She got our order wrong. Forgot a meal. Didn't come to check for refills on soda. Waitress blamed everything on the cook. We won't be back. They were not even busy.

This is the third time I’ve come here. The first two times were fine. Nothing amazing but certainly nothing that warrants a 1 star review.

This last. I do mean last time I’ve come here, the service was an absolute joke. We sat down, ordered drinks as normal. I went to the bar to see if they had my favored beer on tap. I ordered it as we ordered our food. They took over 10 minutes to bring me a beer. They sat and took the order of two other tables, played rock paper scissors, did dishes. Pretty much anything under the sun except bring me a beer. They sat, and served a group of 7 that came in after our group of 7. They brought appetizers 30ish minutes in, old, sad, and not warm but not cold. The cheese curds seemed like they actually smooshed them before serving them. The onion rings were stale.

I ordered the breaded chicken sandwich. They didn’t bring me a side because “I didn’t ask for one.” The server had asked every other person at the table what side they wanted. I was never asked and assumed fries would come as the default option. No fries. The server did offer to bring me some but at that point I was already just wanting to leave, and declined. The sandwich itself was a flattened chicken nugget. In short. I have had better service in a drive thru.

Two people ordered the chef salads. One person got more red cabbage and carrots with burnt bread they call croutons. The other one got more of the core of a head of lettuce that anything else.

I will refrain from speaking more on the service besides this. Your servers need to be retrained. Like, completely. I shouldn’t have to ask for fries, that are mentioned on the menu. And you most certainly should’ve asked me, if you asked everyone else.

I recently moved to Tacoma, a friend of mine came with me to have a couple of cocktails at the break room. When we walked in I went to the bar to order drinks. It was not that busy at the time because we went in early. I stood at the bar for about 7-8 minutes before the bartender waited on me. She immediately had an attitude. Very rude and stand offish. When I got the drinks and tipped her even though her attitude sucked, I went to the table where my friend was sitting. She even noticed the disrespect.
The waitress came to the table and asked us right away if we were eating anything and did we need menu's. She was a complete opposite of the bartender but the damage was done. We left after our first drink. Great first impression!!

This bar was honestly such a refreshing experience. The bartenders were welcoming from the moment we walked in, the service was amazing, and for the first time since moving here, I genuinely felt comfortable and like I fit in somewhere. There were so many different people from different ethnicities all just enjoying themselves together, and nobody made me feel out of place or treated me differently because of my skin color.

The atmosphere was fun, inclusive, and respectful, which sadly is something that stands out these days. Great drinks, great vibes, great people, and an environment I would recommend to anyone looking for a place where everyone is treated the same. I’ll definitely be back and I already plan on doing a video on this place soon because businesses like this deserve recognition.

Large portions are my favorite

1st time at the Break room. Had a great meal. Enjoyed time with friends. Tiffany was wonderful. The order was unusual. Came out right and all together.
5 stars, will be back.

The butter was dripping from the sourdough toast. The fillings were oozing from the eggs. And the hash browns were the right amount of crisp. We absolutely love Break Room omelets! Hands down the best breakfast around!! And, the drinks are always a good pour.
