Amazing up north atmosphere, and the most stunning view of Lake Nokomis. Had a perfectly cooked Ribeye, really tasty pasta alla vodka, and the wedge salad was excellent. Bartender was also super knowledgeable about their wine selection and made great recommendations. Very reasonably priced for what you get. Will come back over and over again!!
We just tried Bootlegger’s for the first time and were nervous after reading some of the reviews. However, I’m glad we decided to try for ourselves and happy to report our experience was the polar opposite of many of the reviews. We had a reservation for two at 4pm, which was the first seating for dinner. We were seated right away, had a friendly and attentive waitress throughout, and our meals were both excellent. 8 of my sister's and I ate here on 5/17/25 and we were definitely Disappointed! Our $50.00 a piece Prime Rib was an awful, toughest piece of meat we've had. The selection that came with the meal was limited and very small portions. The salad that came with the meal was bland. If ordering soup with your meal was another $12.00. We ordered the last 3 Bloody Marys, when they arrived at the table without any garnish, we asked about it, waitress said the bartender is working...
