Prairie Rapids Tavern

My husband and I moved to the area a few months ago after visiting for 35 years. We 1st went to PRT a couple of months ago, and it has become a favorite hangout of ours. The owner and bartenders are so friendly and the setting on the Tomahawk River is beautiful!

The way they treated my kid n his friend, both "almost teenagers", was super impressive.. Im so thankful that you gave them water(bottles even) especially since you were closed. It just shows the community how great of a business you truly are...

Great Atmosphere to be around in the summer. They tend to have a good about of bands play live many nights. Food is good and bar is good as well.

A fantastic northern Wisconsin bar, if you haven't been you must stop by! They throw a variety of themed parties throughout the year that are always a lot of fun! The bar is clean and the bartenders are friendly. I love the outdoor space in the summer with great views of the river and the northwoods.

I stopped by during the 2023 Fall Motorcycle ride and had an excellent time. Great atmosphere, inside and out. A lower deck by the river had some really awesome atmosphere. Great entertainment in the pavilion, and the bar staff was outstanding. I will be back.

Great place, and new pavilion is awesome. We made some good memories stopping in on Fall Ride this year. Delicious dumplings for the soup in a bowl, very tasty!!
