“I have purchased the Wisconsin Mix 3 times. The first 2 were amazing, but the butter and cheese in the mix of this last order is stale and not crunchy. I’m sure this is a fluke and am reaching out to them, but I would still order it again…it’s that good!“

“Came just after heading back down towards Milwaukee after staying up in Green Bay for bay beach! Decided we would stop here for some quality ice cream, and loved it. We have been here about 5 times in the past year or so and they have always had amazing ice cream. Their factory is also really cool and amazing. We got to get a tour and we were amazed. Overall, the ice cream is great, and the prices aren’t terrible, but could be better.“

“Transport yourself back to a simpler time and visit Beerntsen’s in Manitowoc. It was originally founded in 1932 by Joseph Beernsten and remain a family owned business until 2003. The new owners, Dean Schadrie and his family have a background in making chocolate and stated that they would keep it the exact same. I had not been here since I was probably in my early teens and 30 years later it was everything I remembered growing up. I was even able to get the same sundae, the Teddy Bear, that I got as a child, and it was EXACTLY as I had remembered. Even the menu was the same! They have 32 different sundae options for you to choose from. They also have a small lunch menu. Afterwards I had to get some chocolates and taffy.
