Prime rib was decent, but for 39$ there are many places that are better and cheaper. It was a bit chewy, for all three of us that ordered it. 6$ for tap beer is a bit of a gouge when bottled beer is 4$… Salad bar was good.
Atmosphere was ok. Decor was a supper club stile except for the digital ad board on the wall. Made the atmosphere sub par. Service was ok. Food was ok. Ordered Old Fashions and they were served in a tall glass with no mulled orange or orange. Odd. Paper napkins in a supper club? Not OK. Entire experience was not at all what we expected.
Not only has Rita added her own touches while preserving the 1961 charm of this gem of a supper club, but she has also carried on the warm, welcoming spirit.
Rita is connected with the original owners' family, who have passed down recipes from the broasted chicken to the top secret old fashioned mix. Don't miss it!
