Tailwinds Brewing Company is a wonderful establishment and an asset to Union Grove, offering a fantastically unique and cozy atmosphere. The aviation theme is incredible, making it like a mini-museum of airline history and paraphernalia. It is a paradise for both avgeeks and beer enthusiasts.
The brews are super high quality and tasty, with specific beers like the Hefeweissen (Freising), the Pale Lager (Taillight), and the "Little Ricky Porter" noted. The owners maintain traditional brewing methods with great passion. The menu, while small, focuses on high-quality food options to compliment the drinks. They smoke their meats in-house, with recommendations for the in-house smoked pulled pork, the Reuben dip, and the Pulled Pork Pizza.
The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Their amazing Flight Crew enjoys what they do, making every visit a great time. This place is definitely worth a detour and a return visit.
