We went to the place I grew up down the street from but now live 30 minutes away from. We walked in and it was crowded! Wildcats did it again and made it to the playoffs so the crowd was packed and enthused. We sat down at a random table with the old school orange and black pom poms and actually were greeted asap. Came in as I was at a local conference and it's the nearest restur to my hotel. Been a few times before when traveling as well. Servers have always been friendly and generally attentive. Food is decent and fair variety. Drinks are good and alot of offerings off their liquor menu. Worth a stop if your in the area.
We shared a shrimp and fish dinner, and a bowl of New England clam chowder. The dinner was good, the chowder was very good, flavorful, with plenty of tender clam bits, different from the usually bland potato-filled chowder you get.
