Hometown feel. Great place to socialize with locals, shoot pool and eat wings. Back bar is original to the place. Blatz relief sign is original from 1933. Back in the 90’s- a couple turn of the century newspaper clippings were found in the walls during a remodel- dated 1907.
Lots of history here. One of the only remaining businesses still in Vesper. At one time- Vesper had 2 gas stations, cheese factory, laundry mat, a carpet store, feed mill, Ace hardware, bank, barber, grocery store, insurance, lumber yard, pallet factory, credit union, mechanic shop, ceramic shop, telephone company, restaurants, grade school, 3 taverns and a general store. Even had the railroad at one time. This October will be Jo Jo’s 48th year!

Great place. Very friendly people
Small and quiet which is what I enjoy. Friendly people and bartender. Food was average at best but I go for the beer mainly anyways.
