Myself and another person at our table ordered the reuben. The meat on our sandwiches was brown in color. I questioned our server. He thought maybe corned beef turned brown on the grill when cooked. I said I have never seen corned beef turned brown before. He said they sell tons of reubens and never have issues but briefly went to the kitchen to ask. He asked if it tawhich it was palatable but When he returned he assured me it was corned beef and not to worry. I do not believe it was corned beef but shaved beef which if it was and they were out of corned beef i would have appreciated them being honest rather than telling a bogus story .

Fantastic roadside stop. Food was super reasonably priced, good options, we all loved our food. My boys had the Gasser burger and each said it was one of the best burgers they've had anywhere. My wife had a wrap and I had the steak sandwich - all were good. Service was great, and overall a great place to stop, will be back when we're in the area.
Before leaving this review I would like to preface that I was excited to go and eat at gassers. When coming to gassers I order a blt with a side of fries, when receiving my food I was met with it my entire meal fries includes being cimd, the bacon on my sandwich if I could even call it that was in little pieces leaving me already not satisfied, and that was just the first order. Next my second order that was supposed to be a ruban , came out as a pizza ig??? I should say that our waitress wasn’t even aware that it was a pizza. It was obviously not what we had intended, but what came out was just beyond strange and baffling. On top of the pizza was sweet pickle slices already confusing, then a thick layer of Kobe Jack cheese on top of soggy bread drenched in thousand island dressing sauce and ruban chunks. to say we weren’t satisfied would be a understatement but I’ll leave it at that let’s get to the service and atmosphere. The service we received well dinning at gassers was not what I would call good. Yes this could be a result of them being quite busy but our waitress was one of three people doing their job that I could notice. We sat there waiting for around 20 minutes, and at that point we were debating if we should leave right before we did finally receive our menus and got asked what to drink. I don’t know I should say that we were so unsatisfied that we ultimately decided not to take anything to go and have decided in the future to probably not dine out here. In the past gassers has been a very good place to eat, sad to see that the service and food here has gone downhill in recent months. I’d rate zero if I could everything about my experience here was bad.
