As someone who comes from a mexican household and raised in mexico this spot brought back memories. Not only was my server ramon excellent at his job, he also made me feel like i had come here a dozen times before, the food was like a portal back to jalisco this isnt a authentic mexican restaurant. This is THE mexican restaurant. A hidden gem in a small city that people need to drive out and try. Thank you for bringing me a slice of my old home all the way in the midwest.
The food was amazing, the service was prompt, professional, and friendly.Literally my ONLY mark against it was that it was uncomfortably hot in there, for my preference anyway. But it was one of those freak 100 degree days we have been having and that's not their fault.
