What an incredible experience I just had! I don’t think I have ever had a more special or delicious meal than the lunch I ate at Driftless Cafe. Do yourself a favor and get some shabazi fries!
Loved everything about this place. Super friendly staff, to die for food, and chill vibe. I stayed in Viroqua for 3 nights and went for every meal I could, trying different small plates, desserts and cocktails each evening. On my last day there I went for lunch and ordered one of their pizzas…. Amazing!! The food is really exquisite—and combined with the relaxed country vibe, I would choose it over an NYC restaurant any day.

I was going to celebrate my big birthday. I let them know when I made the reservation. Had a wonderful meal and Stephanie was a great server. Funny though no one ever wished me a happy birthday to me the entire evening. A bit of a let down.
