“Fairly loud due to the bar, good food, wasn't asked how we liked our burgers cooked but they came out ok, no matter what other reviews say. Only one server at dinner rush so things were a little slow, understandably. Our appetizer arrived long after our meal but it was worth it.“
“It was cocktail time in Viroqua and we were so glad to have stumbled upon Tangled Hickory! While they have big screen TVs throughout the bar (not a fan), the ambience was cute. Good lighting and a beautiful dark wood bar with comfy leather bar stools. Our bartender was an absolute sweetie! She offered free samples of beer to my husband before he ordered a Spotted Cow (a Wisconsin classic). She also made really delicious cocktails (old fashioned, Moscow mule and a whiskey martini) for me and our friends. We couldn't believe how affordable the drinks were! But then again, thats Wisconsin for you .“
“Always a good time when i visit this culvers in viroqua! I highly recommend the double butter burger meal with a cheese cup or two to dip your burger or fries in. It's super delicious, and most people dont think to ask for the cheese cup for dipping!Kid-friendliness: Lots of seating for family and get-togethers inside. Always freindly service.Parking: Always parking unless its the weekend or right after church on sunday. Or the occasional friday that everyone is craving deliciousness it might be tight parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs will have no problem getting into the restaurant. And staff will even sometimes come out to help if they see someone struggling.“
“My wife and I went on a road trip from Chippewa Falls and this restaurant was recommended to us, we both had the broasted chicken and it was very good, the food, service and prices were all excellent, next time my wife and I are in viroqua we will definitely eat here again, A++++++++“
“I dropped in for a simple breakfast yesterday and I was blown away by the delicious food they prepared. I also ordered the veggie melt just so I could satisfy my cheese craving but it was so delicious I felt bad for eating so much. Right now they have a nice simple Christmas feel but the food they prepare here is far greater than “simple.”“
“I did not have one complaint about anything.... from the taking my reservation. Being so courteous and fit Me and the wife in.The waitress was just right on top of everything. Courteous and informative, Love the small talk and banter..I wish I would have remembered her name. That's the only gripe that I have...lol But the food was amazing Cooked to perfection and it was so delicious. The wife got pork chops and lobster tail. I ended Up getting a prime rib , Garlic mashed potatoes. A lobster Tail plus all the fixings the salad bar was full and everything was fresh. Crispy. I gotta stop talking about it My mouth is watering we can't wait to get back there We will definitely be going back,and back ,and back and Bringing some friend and family back to this gem! “Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is great, bartenders are pleasant, the chef is outstandingly at what he does, and the food is top shelf.Salad bar is always fresh, soup is home made.Daily specials are delicious, and the prime rib is good. Excellent seafood“
“They were short-handed on this day. Our waitress was new, so she was a bit behind the eight ball. The food was good, though. I had roast beef and potatoes, and my husband had a burger. The atmosphere was just chaotic because they were so busy and not enough help.“
“I was going to celebrate my big birthday. I let them know when I made the reservation. Had a wonderful meal and Stephanie was a great server. Funny though no one ever wished me a happy birthday to me the entire evening. A bit of a let down.“
