“Had one of the best dinners ever! A pork chop with rosemary sauce over mashed potato which was a special for the night. The flavors were incredible snd the pork was very tender. My compliments to the chef. I truly enjoyed every bite.“
“To manage expectations, this is not a luxury place… it’s more like an enclosed “motel.” However, for the price, it’s a great value. I have booked a few rooms here three years in a row (to float the Kickapoo on the Viroqua music festival weekend in July) and I’ve had a great experience each year. Management was great and other staff personnel were adequate. Again, it’s great for the price for what it is. Thanks for accommodating our group Norske Inn!“

“You can't get a more authentic small town diner experience than this! I had the Western burger with fries and a drink. Was perfectly prepared and tasted great! Prices are very reasonable and the staff are on top of things. You can tell this place has the locals stamp of approval when there's a group of retirees playing cards in the back and you hear the waitress ask "want the usual?". Will definitely be stopping back the next time I'm through Cashton.“

“Israel, a employee of this establishment, was the nicest waiter i have ever had. He is a hard worker and needs a pay raise. I talked to him for less than 5 minutes and I can tell he is a wonderful man. He has 2 kids at home and I know he makes a great father.“

“We have been working on a josite near Viroqua for the past 3 weeks and have ate here almost every day for our lunch. The service and food have been outstanding. The wait staff have always been astronomical and fast. I commend the cooks for the delicious meal and quick service.“

The staff is all new and it totally changed this place. Much nicer people working here that bring you what you ask for instead of fighting the customer. The food hasn’t changed much which is good because the food here has always been good. Although the place lost its 90’s warm fuzzy appeal it’s still very nice and look forward to coming back.“

“I've eaten at KOS several times and it's always a memorable experience. From cocktails to dessert, they rarely miss the mark. The wait staff is superior: friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is warm, subdued and quiet in the low table room, so no shouting to hear one another, even when they're crowded. It's absolutely perfect for a romantic couple's night out. Last night's meal was Gumbo with jumbo blackened shrimp (fabulous!!) and one of the weekly dessert specials, a delicious cranberry pavlova. The chef here is as good, or better, than any in the region, including LaCrosse. \nI highly recommend this gem of a restaurant !!“
